Enjoyable Gingery Tipple
As a dedicated Whisky drinker I noticed recently that there arent many alcohol free options open to a malt fan. I decided to sample some of the options out there.1st things 1st.... this is not Whisky nor intended as a whisky replacement. It is however a drink that can be poured into your fav whisky glass and enjoyed in an evening. My thoughts; On the nose, Gingerbread, earthy, roots xmas spice.1st Sip, instant realisation of smooth mouthfeel, with burst of earthy gingery flavourFinish, an amazing Ginger afterburn, enjoyable, lengthy & more-ish.So that was my 1st taste of an alternative spirit, I have to say i'm quite impressed and poured several of these one after the other into my Glencairn. I am a big fan of sherried malt whisky and have tasted a vast range of pricey malts over the years. Keeping an open mind about alternatives seems an interesting area to explore.I realise that there will likely be a lot of reviews with people instantly disliking non alcoholic alternatives but I think if you keep in mind this is in a genre of its own, its not trying to be anything, in fact due to its plant based composition I think it really is verging into its own territory of drink. I should note that I had a great sleep the evening after sampling, something that this bottling markets as an advantage hence the name Nightcap, was that a coincedance? I dont know but the botanists who put this together seem to claim it assists sleep.I think my initial thought with purchasing somethings so different to my usual whisky tipple was this: Was I purchasing a bottle of juice? after my 1st sip and noticing the thicker consistency It definitely isnt juice, it feels more special, more luxurious. Overall I would say this is in a category of its own and tbh I quite like it. In fact im keen on trying the other products from this company. As with all things every individual will have their own taste preferences, I happen to really like Ginger so naturally I would warm to this drink due to its Gingery notes and mild afterburn.

Mellow and dreamy, delicious smokey nightcap.
It certainly helped me fall asleep faster, it kind of slowly starts to make you feel mellow, not drunk just really relaxed. The taste is unusual but not unpleasant, woody and a bit spicy.I had it straight over ice but would be nice with most soda type mixers I think.I'm going to get the livener next.I just wish they had bigger bottles as I can't imagine this will last very long.I understand the price is slightly high but the quality and amount of ingredients used in the product is reflective of this.I would recommend the product and give it 10/10 rating.

Went mouldy after about 4 weeks of opening
The media could not be loaded. This was the third bottle of Nightcap that I had ordered. I had even recommended it to a few people because the taste is quite nice.Although I never noticed a distinctive nootropic effect, I did feel quite relaxed when I drank it while cooking. I also found myself feeling sleepier than usual while watching TV after dinner. Overall, I was relatively pleased with the product, albeit it being overpriced (per ml, it’s almost 50% more expensive than Kraken rum). However, the most recent bottle I purchased from Amazon went mouldy after being open for only about four weeks (purchased 4th Jan). I’m not sure if it was a faulty product, but unfortunately, there is no option to request a refund or exchange at this point. My advice: try it, but don’t buy it from Amazon.

Lovely
Ive tried various non alcholic spirits of late. Just wanting something a little more grown up since I went "dry".. the Three Spirits range are probably the best so far... Feragaia literally tastes of furniture polish. Sentia is very similar in style to three spirits, I didnt notice the defined effect it advertises at all and at £32 a bottle err.. to be honest three spirits, for 50 cl, is also pricey particularly if, like me, you guzzle it ! strictly on ration then. Nightcap is probably my favourite, nice warm and spicey and fairly complex in flavour it really enjoy it before bedtime but yes.. please make it half the price !!! or twice the size !!!

Not a bad product
The product itself is good,it helps to relax at night without alcohol,my gripe is... you have to use 50 ml each time, the bottle is thick glass so deceptive to how much you're actually getting, maybe spend less on the packaging and put more in the bottle! As I dont think many people can afford to pay 25 pounds for a bottle of not very nice tasting herbs that lasts approximately 3 days. Shame as I did find it relaxing,I may buy on the odd occasion if the price doesnt come down, but now currently sourcing something cheaper as It just too expensive sorry
