This cushion has been regularly used and has never lost its support. It doesn't squish flat. It's always maintained its shape.

I ordered the big size in beige, they sent me grey but it's whatever I don't feel like bothering with exchanging.It's decently thick, supportive, comfortable, firm yet squishy.I'm a pretty small person and this "big" size one seems perfect for most every size person, I'm glad I didn't order the small oneupdate: after my back surgery, I have to say this isn't as comfortable as I hoped. I got it for my car cuz the car seat is pretty terribad. Placing at at the bottom of the seat hurts my lower back when leaning against it, so I raised it up so that it hits in my middle/upper back to take pressure off the lower back. I'm probably a fairly uncommon case so take that into account but I feel like I'd rather have a memory foam/soft support that runs the whole length of the car seat (which I'm searching for)

i bought this for some lumbar support in my new Honda that lacks lumbar support! (amazes me they dont have it in their seats!) i went with this one as the seat clips go thru the seat/back not around the seat leaving straps showing and leaving marks on the seats. this is nice but the cushion sits low from this and really isnt much in the "lumbar" area. does it help? yes but dramatically.be aware in the winter the cushion gets pretty hard/stiff until it warms up.

Too squishy, not enough support. It also gets really hot in the summer. I will keep it for the winter, will keep me warm and reasonable lower back support.

I never had a problem in American cars (the seats are superior). In Japanese cars, the lumbar is always a bit off and my lower back aches on long trips. This pillow is PERFECT in my Subaru as well as our Honda. Perfect.

Most back pillows are too big. Large back pillows are, if not uncomfortable for my small size they are visually intrusive and ugly. This has a good amount of support and give as well as a slim/sleek non-obtrusive nature that allows it to sit out all the time and look like it belongs there.I don't understand the clip attachments at the bottom, though. They're designed to shove in between the seat cushions but back pillows are not meant to stay attached that low in the seat, they're back support not butt support.
