Good thermals, relatively easy to work with
After a fair amount of research I came to the conclusion that Gelid is one of the the best, or at least better thermal pad solutions on the market... I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it is fairly priced; it stung a little bit that I needed to get 1 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm pieces to be sure that I would have all the right thicknesses to repad my graphics card, and that of course starts to add up. However that isn't Gelid's fault...Thermally I can't actually definitive answer as to how much it dropped temperatures, because I was actually installing an aftermarket dual water block on my GPU so it wouldn't be a like-for-like comparison... The water blocks did come with thermal pants, however like I say, having already spent a fortune, I wanted to install the best...What I can say is that with the hefty AIB three slot triple fan blower on the card with stock pads and compund, I was getting about 80C degrees on the GPU die, and nearly 90C on the GPU memory... On the dual front and rear EK water blocks with these Gelid thermal pads on the memory, and thermal grizzly kryonaut on the die, both die and memory peak at 62C now. With much lower (and therefore quieter) fan speeds. 👍😁👍

Great, although pricey, stuff!
Bought two packs of these pads to replace the stock material on my Xbox One X as I was replacing the paste on the APU and thought I may as well do the lot.The 2.0mm was what I figured out you needed for the XBox, and from other reviews I gathered I’d need two packs as this is only 8x4cm. Turns out, if you’re not worried about the Southbridge chip on the reverse of the board, you can easily do the 12 RAM chips (about 11x14mm each) and the VRMs with a single sheet of this. As I bought two anyway I used the second pack to do the Southbridge but could have fudged it with the remaining scraps or reused the original pad if I needed to.All the credit can’t just go to this material as I obviously replaced the paste as well, but the XBox fan has dropped about 25dB and is noticeably quieter. Essentially silent in a normal room on high load from demanding games. I totally believe the higher-than-average specs on this material and it was easy to use and a joy to apply (especially compared to the mess Made taking the stock pads off).Aside from the rather hefty price tag I’d say this stuff is perfect, and probably overkill for my application, but well recommended!

Perfect amount for Xbox One X (not CPU use thermal paste for that)
Wanted to re-paste CPU/GPU on Xbox One X, but there are secondary chips requiring pads to transfer heat to the heatsink. After googling required thickness I had to decide, cheap and cheerful no brand of this. Higher thermal transfer rate by a large margin compared to other cheaper ones deciding factor.Lots of hot air coming out of rear vent so heat being transferred away from processor and memory to room. The fan doesn't sound like its reaching max speed even after two hours playing Tomb Raider in 4k mode I can hardly hear it, more importantly, my partner cannot hear it. Worth the extra, just be careful when cutting and you'll have a little bit leftover. Oh, and don't forget the thin strip for the VRM's.

Good, but expensive
I used these thermal pads to replace the stock thermal pads on my Asus RTX 2070 MINI - these thermal pads work well and they definitely have reduced VRM and VRAM temperature, however they are expensive and you only get 80x40 in size.I would really like to see a reduction in price or a bigger size you get for the money, 100x100 at a minimum would be nice.I would only recommend buying these (at the current price of £13.90) if you are an enthusiast who is looking for every ounce of performance and reduced temperature. If you are just looking for replacement pads, you may be better served by other and cheaper options.

Great product and easy to use.
I hadn't heard of them before, so I took a risk ordering the product. That said, I paired it with Thermal Grizzly's Kryonaut to aid the cooling in my PS4 Pro and its been a fair few months since i did it. The PS4 hardly ever ramps up and the heat is isolated to the heatsinks. So I would definitely say it works and works well.

I ordered this item but only 1 of 0.5mm×40mm×80mm GELID GP-Extreme thermal pad arrived today.
When I placed my order on 1 Oct, 2018, my order included 4 of 1.0 mm×40mm×80mm GELID GP-Extreme thermal pads + 1 of this item. The title of this item is still " Gelid Solutions gp-extreme Combined |2x (12 W/m K |2x Handset – Grey, 40 mm, 0.5 mm, 80 mm) " and I thought it is for 2× of 0.5mm×40mm×80mm thermal pads. The price for 1.0mm thickness GP-Extreme thermal pad was £7.84, while this item(0.5mm thickness GP-Extreme thermal pad) costed £8,44, which is greater than 1.0mm thickness one. Anybody would be able to think that item with the same cross-sectional area and the greater thickness would cost much more than the thinner one. So I thought the price of £8.44 was for 2× 0.5mm×40mm×80mm thermal pads.So I contacted Amazon UK service center today and asked about my situation. The service center personnel told me he would provide immediate replacement order for 1 of missing 0.5mm thickness thermal pad. What a great service from Amazon UK! I'm waiting for my replacement order now.I'm planning to install these thermal pads on my newly purchased MSI laptop of GE73 Raider RGB 8RF, which is equipped with a notoriously 'HOT' 8th generation Intel Mobile CPU i7-8750H. I hope GELID GP-extreme thermal pad could lower the Max temperature of the CPU significantly.I'll update my review after I install these thermal pad onto my laptop and get the temperature change result. It is a little bit bothersome to wait for a replacement order but I think I was happy to purchase these from Amazon UK with such a great service..-----------------------------------UPDATE : I contacted Amazon UK's customer service and they had sent the missing item immediately. And it took 5~6 days to arrive. As for performance, I observed significant reduction in the temperature of SSDs in my laptop after applying this product. Highly recommended!
