Expensive but worth it
Expensive but you know it's just gonna work and not void your warranty. Worth the peace of mind.

Word perfectly non my DS220+Shutdown, removed one of the drives, slot it on, drive back in. 5 Mon job. No nags about unverified memory in your nas, this is tested and qualified for nas useI can now run more docker containers.

Works perfectly but too expensive
I wanted to increased the RAM on my Synology DS1819+ so I could run more apps and Docker containers because disappointingly, like many other products in the Plus series, the device only comes with 4GB installed.I initially considered upgrading to 16GB or 32GB of RAM for this unit but soon changed my mind when I discovered that a single 16GB stick of Synology branded ECC RAM cost half as much as the NAS itself! In my experience Synology devices also seem to be really fussy about the RAM used in them and unfortunately, because of this, it's a good idea to use Synology branded products as opposed to generic brands such as Crucial and Corsair.I personally don't have a problem with using Synology branded RAM but what I do have a problem with is how expensive it is! For a 4GB stick this is very overpriced, especially seeing as you can get a 16GB or more kit of Corsair for the same money. Unfortunately you are paying a massive premium for this RAM and the single 4GB stick is nearly as much as a 16GB Crucial kit but it works perfectly and Synology will honour the waranty etc.The RAM is very well presented and not only comes in the regular plastic shell but also a Synology branded box. Installation was a simple as unscrewing the metal plate on the bottom of the DS1819+ and installing the module alongside the original. It's been running perfectly for a few days since (no random shutdowns etc.).Pros:- Works perfectly in DS1819+- Easy to fit- Well presentedCons:- Far too expensive

Pricey but works well
A bit pricey. Added with 2 x 1Tb cache SSDs to improve throughput speed. Only uses about 30% total memory even when under heavy workload.

uite expensive but works
Just the price was high and it had to come from the USA.

It Works
Although it works fine the price is rather disappointing compared to memory from other manufacturers.... and although other memory would probably work Synology won't uphold their warranty if others are used. Hmmmph!

Not cheap
It's not cheap but that's synology for you but it does what it says on the box. Easy to install and no problems
