One thing I like he most about this baking soda is that it is uncut with alum. Alum is a preservative that is found many baking soda products The only other one I know of that does not list that preservative is Red Mill.. I like both brands but I like that this is much bigger.BEST VALUE FOR THE PRICEI agree with the statement, “Like lots of people, I have been using Arm & Hammer for years as my at home baking soda, but hadn't realized that it has quite a few things in it that are unnatural, making it not the best product to serve as an all purpose product in your home. Basically, I've gone almost completely organic at home, making sure that all of my products(or as much as I can reasonably buy,) are at least a bit organic or natural. This Bob's Red Mill Baking soda is absolutely amazing. In terms of cleaning or deodorizing, the results seem to be about the same, but, I've started using it as toothpaste and deodorant for my skin, and I notice HUGE differences in its effective qualities and the way it works for my body. When I use it on my skin, I don't feel any harsh reaction, it feels as natural as baby powder. I also use it for baking, usually I mix it with a little of my Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) , and I get a great result, super clean flavors that really bring out the essence of whatever I'm baking. A side note: citric acid is another product that, like baking soda, can be used for so many things. I originally purchased this one bag for making bath bombs at home, and since I've gotten it I have used it for baking, making cheese, fruit salads, smoothies, cleaning my kitchen and bathroom, and flushing out bad smells in my garbage disposal. Talk about all purpose! Anyway, I definitely recommend buying this baking soda, especially if you want to fill your home with natural products.I read that baking soda can level out your pH level in your body, so I wanted the purest form. Great product.

Mixes well and bag seals easily. Great if you're using it for baking or mixing with water for drinking. Overall good value for the price.

No taste...good and healthy..

Works great. I got it for brushing. Teeth feel awesome. I'm sure this is good for other stuff ... but happy with that. It tastes foul... but not so much you can't tolerate, just enough that you realize ... wow... this is baking soda and ewwwww.... but - because it's food grade, it's clean. The package is simple and clean -love that. It is exactly what it says: baking soda. No extra ingredients, no weird preservatives, etc. I did find that the resealable package didn't reseal as well as I'd like, so I put it in a big ol' ziploc bag to preserve freshness.

Good quality for the price, I would buy it elsewhere cheaper but this one saved me from an emergency, it arrived super fast.
