Arrived in perfect condition.
I got these shrimp to clean up the hair algae in my tank. It took them a few weeks to eat it all but they eventually ate every bit of that hair algae. They are healthy and active. They are clear in color. The value for the money is good. I will purchase again in the future if needed.

Well worth it!
So I don’t know if I’m extremely lucky or if the seller is just that good, but all my shrimp arrived alive. I was only sent the 10 but none were dead so no complaints on my end.

They all died.
Thought I was getting 10 but only got 5. Oh well. They arrived quickly and seemed very active. Can’t wait to watch the babies grow a bit!Nevermind. They didn’t last 24 hours in the tank. Water tested.. good. Temp good. Acclimated. Had to swish my stones around to get them to float up for a death count. Wasted my money and that was a LOT of money on a budget.

Order was short, did not include the 11 as PD states
Ordered the 10+1Received 9 totalRequested replacement but they only offered a credit for 1 shrimp.....Disappointed that their shipping did not honor their 11 shipment, which is in the Product Description for the Amano Shrimp.Shrimp are active and none have died....they have been in the tank for over 5 days.

Small, delayed, but healthy
The media could not be loaded. I was biting my nails with these guys. The plus one must have gotten eaten along the way by the other 10. Despite being sent priority mail, which is supposed to take 2 to 3 business days, the Post Office delayed them over a week at a sorting hub.VENDORS, YOU CAN'T COUNT ON USPS.I had another order at the same time of aquarium plants (different vendor) and went to my local office to see what the hell was going on. I live in a very hot climate. I was freaking panicked by now.The plants appeared magically that day. They were shipped regular ground. They were mush. The next morning, the shrimp were hand delivered by the Carrier Routes Supervisor at my local branch office. I made a joke about "Schrödinger's shrimp," and took the box inside nervously. I was pleasantly shocked to find that they were not only still alive, but buzzing about the bag actively. I quickly got them into a bag to acclimate. It's been several months. I still see one every now and then. They are growing slowly. They seem to prefer foraging on leftover food and biofilm on the Driftwood instead of helping with hair algae. The plague continues.I was thinking of taking another plan of attack with some SAEs, but the internet hive mind seems to suggest that those will just eat my snails rather than the algae. Now, I'm thinking of getting some other biofilm feeders such as neon gobies and additional non-amano shrimp to force the amanos to focus on their own niche.
