One of the better ones in the series
We have done every single game in this series and we found this one very enjoyable. Some are better than others but this one was quite good. There was only one super annoying puzzle that we could definitely not solved without hints but the rest were fun.

Perfect for two, and a great gift or date-nigth idea
This is my second time doing an EXIT escape room puzzle, and I might be addicted. My 20y.o. daughter gave me another one (Enchanted Forest) for a birtday gift, and I enjoyed it so much that I bought this one as well. My husband and I did it together in our free time, and it was a blast. It was challenging enough to be very entertaining, and the hints kept us from getting stuck or overly frustrated. I loved it so much I already bought The Forbidden Castle (one copy for myself and another for the same daughter) and the EXIT Advent Calendar! We tried playing our first one together with our other girls (ages 17 and 18), but decided it's kind of difficult for more than two people to work on at any given time because you're usually looking at something physical, so I think these games are best for 1 or 2 people at a time. It's a great idea for a stay-at-home date night or game night, but plan for several hours of work at least.

One time game, but excellent puzzles
This entire series is fantastic fun. My family loves solving the puzzles as a team. Plan on a couple of hours to finish. The only downside is the lack of replay, as cards and materials are destroyed in the solutions, so you can't even gift or resell once done. But you can't beat it for a family escape room experience in your own livong room.

More difficult than expected
Took 4 adults maybe 5 hours to solve this problem. 2 adults have done previous challenges like these, escape rooms, advent calendar challenges and the other 2 just a couple of similar challenges. Maybe we were looking at the questions too deeply. It was interesting though and we wanted to get to the end.

Harder than I expected
Great game! We’ve done several of these and I found this one harder than ones with higher ratings. Technically it says up to 4 players, but after playing a few I feel like they’re better for 2 players. It’s just easier to look over the paperwork/puzzles in a smaller group. I recommend this game.

choose a different “exit the game” box
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have played and enjoyed several of the “Exit The Game” boxes. This one, “The Cursed Labyrinth”, is the only one where I’ve given up in non-enjoyment and stopped playing midstream. Unusually for this series, my group of players found the puzzles here to be illogical and capricious — even after reading the solution cards, to which we had to fall back more often than not. The game difficulty is labeled “novice” but we found this box to be far more baffling — not in a good way — than the “expert-level” boxes from the same manufacturer. This box also comes with a sharp metal pushpin that isn’t great for young kids.

Really Fun
This was so much fun. We did not use the timer or award points or even play on teams, but we had a great time figuring it out. Money well spent.

Christmas Gift
I bought about 3 of the Exit escape room games as a Christmas gift for my nephew and his wife. It's great entertainment for a night in. I will buy again.
