Great product. Great support.
I recommend this code scanner.I purchased this model because of features --- especially its ability to scan diesel trucks and cars --- and price. It worked very well when I received it, testing it on my 2015 Hyundai.A few months later, I had a "check engine" indication on my 2019 RV, built on a Freighliner/Cummins chassis. I hooked up the HD 3.0 using the J1939 adapter, but had difficulty making an electronic connection.Using the Amazon link to contact the seller/manufacturer for support, I opted to write an e-mail so I could provide details. I was pleasantly surprised to hear back the next morning with a couple of specifics questions, including requesting details about the vehicle. I responded within a few hours, including more details about the step-by-step process I performed connecting and selecting a test. And, importantly, information noted on my on-board readout and indicator lights.The next morning I received a zip file with a software update that fixed my issue.Bottom line, using e-mail we were able to exchange information that helped tech support quickly provide the software solution. I was very impressed.

Works on my 2004 Winnebago Diesel RV with a 2003 Cummins ISC-350 engine.
I used this "Heavy Truck" Scanner on my 2004 RV with a 2003 Cummins ISC-350 diesel; and I was able to read a nd clear the DTC codes with the key in the 'ON" position, but not with the engine running. So, don't make this mistake.In addition, FYI, some Heavy Truck Scanners my fail if you try clearing the codes with the engine running, but not this one! So, I will keep this scanner for on the road trouble shooting and I recommend every RVer carry one.

NOT FOR PACCAR!!
Wasted my money on this one. Might work for other brands but I don't own any of them. Should have been clear, NOT FOR PACCAR.

Does NOT speak Freightliner
NO communication with the ECU on either Freightliner. Asks me to check connection and make sure my truck is using the correct protocol. REALLY? WHY advertise that this scanner works on HD truck's when it does NOT? Total waste of time! Did NOT work on my 2003 FL 60 6.4 L Mercedes or my 2012 M2 112 DD13! Spend the $400 and get a scanner that works! Update! More like $4,000- $5,000! You need a laptop, multiplexer, software,cords and programming. Monthly subscription fees are NOT included!

Easy to use…!
This OBD reader is awesome…. (So far) plugged it into my motor home and bingo gave me a low fuel pressure reading for my 330 hp Cummins engine……. It runs fine when I first started it and died 5 minutes later…. I think it’s the electric lift pump….. the plot thickens…..

In the know!
I have a Fleetwood coach and on my last trip I had engine trouble. It was horrible not knowing what was going on. It was on a weekend and I was unable to get help. Unsure if I was hurting the engine by continuing to drive it l felt helpless. I ordered this, received it the next day, and found the trouble. With that knowledge I knew I was ok for a while. Able to tell a Frightliner dealer the codes over the phone they told me what to do to get to them. I now keep it on the coach just for piece of mind. The not knowing is the worst thing to me.It worked great giving me the same code their test gear at the shop did. Well worth the money.

Read fuel pressure on LLY chevy 3500 duramax 6.6
This does not support the Engine codes for chevy. This does not support the LLY. HOWEVER, I was able to use this to get live data on my fuel rail pressure, since the LLY and older use J1939 to talk to the allison transmission. 5 stars that I was able to diagnose an unsupported diesel truck's fuel problem for such a low price. Well worth the gamble

Could not update
Worked kind of on my 24V cummins 5.9, The issue I have is that I can not update it so it gives wrong information. Tried to contact customer support, no luck. Will replace and see if a second unit is any better.
