Fits Good
Shipping containers are like a solar oven. You NEED to ventilate them to protect whatever tou keep inside. This has a small fan but it moves the air up and out of the container. The fan runs in cloudy and overcast sky.

Decent
Seems to be decent quality, installed easily, But does Not move as much air as I had hoped. Installed one in a 40' container. It has reduced gasoline smell inside from storing Motorcycles. Was hoping that it would significantly reduce temperature inside the container in the summer but I believe I would need 3 more to do what I wanted. And I would put 3 more in if I could afford to

Tiny fan and only works in DIRECT sun
As other people mentioned, it is basically a tiny computer fan. It is extremely sunny, hot and 98 degrees today but there are some branches far above the solar panel blocking the solar panel from getting 100% full sun coverage. Because of this, the little fan does not even turn on. The panel appears to need to be in full sun before the fan turns on. This isn't going to work for me at all. Very disappointed. The housing is very well made though.

Worried about Installing
Received the Solar RoofBlaster for containers and the fan is no bigger than what you would find in a desktop computer. I know less can be more as it relates to removing hot air from a roof but this is not the case with a container. With a container you have a flat roof so equal distribution (small fan) of air pulling from the area doesn't matter. It's all about removing the most hot air possible. I'm thinking about returning this because once you install it, it becomes a part of the container roof and this fan is a) really small, b) looks cheap, and c) looks like a real pain to replace it if it breaks. It would make more sense to install something so permanent that will work for 20 years. This does not look like that. This should be $60 - $80 max.

The fluent works but the fan it’s very small

not so great
the fan is really small and barely makes a difference with the heat inside the container, my biggest complaint is the fan leaks. when there's heavy rain that pools on the roof the water pours inside my container.

Physics Says No. Disappointing.
Think of a desktop/tower computer and the cooling fans used to move air in that small of a volume. This roof vent uses a small fan just like that. There is no way it could move/circulate air in a shipping container in a meaningful way.For nearly $200, I expected more. You’d be better off purchasing passive vents for a much less, OR a 120V fan for over half the cost.

Fan is a joke
This thing moves exactly zero air. Not worth the price tag at all. It doesn’t do anything.
