The following chapters serves as a quick C++ and Python programming refresher before introducing ROS - its concepts, architecture, programming and simulation. The section which mentions running ROS on embedded boards such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi as well as the last chapter which covers a lot of real world aspects such as sensors, drivers and commonly used algorithms in mobile robots etc helps to grasp a clear understanding about bringing up robot hardware to action.

Found this book useful to learn fundamentals of ROS. Interesting to see a ROS project at the end of the book.

Explained ROS concept in a very simple way. Everyone can catchup the concept very easily.Highly recommended for ROS beginners.

This book is worthless unless you purchase thier robot to assemble. It will not help you to build a robot yourself. It is a broad incomplete overview on ros. It would help if they actually give you access to the files for the robot they are discussing, I learned almost nothing from this book.
