Solved my Overheating issue
I bought this engine coolant thermostat for my car after dealing with some annoying overheating problems, and it worked perfectly! It was a direct fit and matched the OEM part exactly, installation was quick and hassle-free.Since replacing it, my engine temperature has been running steady and right where it should be. Great part, too bad the car still grenaded
Got one of these for my SO's Cruze and the kit itself is great. It held up great for ~8 months but then the 1.4 did what they do best; blew the head gasket and windowed the block.

I would not recommend this product at all. the first one I received leaked very shortly after installing, got in touch with amazon and product was replaced without issue, the second one started to leak within a short period of time in same location as first, so its a design flaw. So I took it apart cleaned it and used teflon sealer where it leaked, that lasted for a little over a year, now its leaking in the same place again. For the amount of time that was spent ultimately working on it 3 times, then purchasing the part from GM , I would have been ahead to just purchase the first one from GM and paying more. Don't waste your time and money. Was not a Amazon issue, was poor product quality.

Bypass hose don't fit leaks
The by pass hose did not fit right and leaked had to go and buy a new one. Other than that it worked fine

It's not plastic
It was delivered less than 24 it not made of plastic

Aluminum seems better than the plastic
Aluminum outlet went on easy enough, agree with others, the overflow hose and connections are terrible. Put it on and it leaked from the connection. Went to OReilly and got a different hose with a updated fitting, no leaks.
