Decent Read
Bella and Nico were born into Mafia families. Best friends and then teenage sweethearts, their lives and each other are ripped apart in one night. Ten years later, much has changed, and yet so much hasn’t. Their lives crash together again, and it’s more than a battle of wills. In every direction. This is the first book I’m the De Kysa Mafia series. It follows the trope very well. The book could do with another round of editing, as there are some things that either contrast or are repeated multiple times. It was a good read, though. I liked Bella and Nico both. The side characters are fun and interesting, if not outlandish on occasion. Worth the read.

Change is constant and consistent
Years have passed since Bella last saw her past love, her heart grew bitter with resentment for the feel of abandonment she experienced in her young teen years. Becoming someone far removed from her family's dark ties with the Mafia, she now yearns for growth and change. The first step, moving permanently to London and continuing her works as an artist and one day presenting her work to be displayed. But life has plans, well her ex- love does anyway. Being cornered into an arranged marriage and forced to move back to the States is anything but enjoyable, something Bella is going to fight against by any means.Nico plans to destroy the man who lead to his mother's death, starting with his devoted daughter. She betrayed him too, leaving him for another when he sought her out after their families tore them apart. Little do they know that their families have been hiding deep secrets, secrets that caused the downfall and destruction that shows signs of once more repeating itself.---This was a great mafia read with plenty of mysterious suspense, hidden secrets, and plenty of betrayal. I loved Bella's sass, but I was bewildered by how often she easily put herself in direct danger without a second thought. For someone claiming to be experienced in defending themselves and knowing how scary the world can be as a Don's child, she doesn't seem to think before she acts in most situations.Nico is distant, harsh, cold. Denying his interest and love for Bella every step of the way, despite the obvious, and lashes out when he does realize that he cares for her. But he grows to want to keep her smile, her passion for the arts and to protect her from his enemies. This was a crazy fun read and I hope to see how they are doing in the next book

5 “Hellcat” Stars!!!
Wow where do I start lol. I absolutely loved this book! Penny Dee, The Devil’s Den was chef’s kiss 😚 amazing! Nico was everything a mafia don should be and more. I ate him up throughout this book. OMG he’s hot, hot, hot! He leaks sexiness from his pores 🤭. Now Bella, our beautiful queen. She was a badass 💯%! I loved how she stood up to Nico and never backed down. She’s my hero lol. When these two are together, the chemistry is off the charts. As proof, that club scene had me squirming in my seat 🔥🔥🔥🤗. The banter between these two had me smiling a lot. The way she called him villain had me cheesing hard 😁.The Devil’s Den had just the right amount of angst, drama, and heat. It was unputdownable. I highly recommend it to everyone even if you’re not a mafia romance fan. It’s that good! This is my first book by this author but it most definitely won’t be my last! This one definitely gets two big thumbs up from me!!!

Let down
I really loved liked this book, up until the end. I loved the hate filled passion that turned not to be hate. I would have liked that she fight him a little more. Or at the very least actually pretend to just give in to all his demands just to show him that's not what he really wanted. But the ending!?! I'll try not to give it away but I just don't like it. I get the why & how it made sense but it felt more like they just gave up. Again I understand but I would have thought that being that's how they were raised, they would be use to it. I would have given it the full 5 but the ending. It's a fantasy so it should have ended that way. This is just my personal wish, I would still definitely recommend. Not sure if I'll read the next one when it's out. On to the next!

Loved it!!
This was good! It eas Hot, spicy, fun and funny. The humour was good and characters interesting.About the story: it was well-written and realistic. The lovestory was fun to read and I liked all the hot scenes. I did read review before I took this book and some of them did write that there was too much hot stuff, but I liked it and this was something that I was waiting for a good book.If you are looking good read, nice lovestory and a hot book, then this is it. Had a good time with this.Ps: Oh and I liked the POVs and that they really talk about things out in the open. It was not draged along and silence thinking. I do not like that kind of books when they just think but do not not talk about it and the story goes boring because all the thinking. This was not that kind of story. Thank you Penny for this good story.
