Mood Lighting With a Green Thumb — Just Add Bricks and Boom, Bliss
This 72" solar outdoor light with planter is the backyard upgrade I didn’t know I needed. Assembly? Easy. Like, “I didn’t swear once” easy. The solar light charges up like it’s training for a marathon and shines from dusk till dawn like it’s trying to keep raccoons away with vibes. Now, yes — it’s a little on the lightweight side. The first gust of wind gave it a look like, “I wasn’t built for this.” So I lovingly tucked a couple of bricks into the base, gave it some potting soil, and added cheerful annuals like a suburban Martha Stewart. Now it’s sturdy, stylish, and softly glowing in my backyard’s quiet corner like a magical lamppost that says, “You’ve made it. Sit. Reflect. Maybe sip something.”Highly recommend. Just be sure to BYOB — bring your own bricks.

Function & beauty
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Amazingly functional & beautiful! Easy to put together. Charges even on cloudy days. Lights stay on all night. Some buyers said they had broken bulbs upon opening but I didn't have that issue. I bought 2 & both were well packaged. Will be buying more of these!

Love it!!!!!
I absolutely love this lantern!!! Put it together in less than 10 mins, filled it with some dirt and beautiful flowers, and it’s been shining brightly every night. I was actually trying to think where else I could put another one I love it so much. The flower pot bars is a strong plastic, the post is a study metal and the lantern on top is metal and GLASS- not plastic! If I could wish for anything it would be to have it a little taller and the lantern a little bigger, just because it would be a better balance where I have it. But I 100% recommend if you’re looking for a solar lantern. (I would even consider buying them as gifts for friends and family). Sorry for the crappy pictures but you can see how bright it is.

Good brighter light for adding some gentle lighting! But definitely enough to see!
This light is awesome! The only reason I have a 4 star and not a 5 is for a few reasons BUT would I recommend YES!!!! got the 72” and you don’t want shorter! Definitely need to add some rocks before soil but that’s ok! The quality is what you’d expect for under $50 but it doesn’t disappoint! The metal tubes screw into each other. (Hence if u want a smaller light at any point u can take a rod or two out). But one of my metal pieces wasn’t perfectly “squared up” lol or Rounded up and has a ever so slight edge that isn’t even but it’s not noticeable unless your trying to look for it and I’m a picky person! I appreciate the brightness! It truly does light up everything! I think the stay kitty outside really appreciates it too lol.

Beautiful & Realistic solar lights
OMG!!!!!! These lights are a great addiction to my patio. I added some artificial flowers to bring it too life. I would strongly suggest putting a few bricks and soil in the bottom of pot to add some stability, with that added support the lights withheld wind and the rain. They are placed in direct sunlight and they stay lite the entire night. I love everything about them and highly recommend.

stopped working
\Received on July 10th, put into operation about a week later. At first everything was fine; it really did add a nice touch to the back yard. However, on Aug 30th it quit working. It comes with 2 bulbs, so that was the first thing I did, but it still doesn't light. I placed the solar panel in direct sunlight for an entire day. Still nothing. This lamp post wasn't cheap, and I have to say I am very disappointed, certainly should have held up longer than two months. I would not recommend.I would like to edit my review of the Derynome outdoor light and planter. After notifying the company that the light stopped working, they immediately sent a new one. I think that is great service. I would definitely recommend this solar to anyone.I have to edit my review once again. The new light assembly that was sent to me only worked for about a month. I gave up and figured that was that. However now it's spring and I really want the light to work. I purchased a new battery yesterday ($15.95) and replaced the old it still doesn't light. I know it's been almost a year since I or since I originally ordered the first one. However, between the two I only had 7 weeks of light, So no I would not recommend .

Does it's job well
Got this to replace the lamp my neighbor lady had that had rotted away. It was easy to assemble. I filled the base with crushed white stone, and it's been enough to keep 25 mph wind from blowing it over. If the wind was expected to be over 35 mph, I would probably take the lamp off the top to keep it from being blown over. It comes off easy. Lights up nicely, recharges with just moderate sunlight. We're happy.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
I bought this as a present. I liked it so much, I got one for myself. It’s very tall, and we’ll made. Putting it together was really easy, you just need a Phillips screwdriver for the base. The lantern is glass.I will say, one of the lanterns came with a little broken glass inside from the edges of the lantern window that broke off. You can’t tell at all though. They are top heavy though (one gust of wind) so I put rocks in the bottom of mine; before I put the dirt in them, to make them a little more sturdy.
