Very good monopod for the money!
Got a great deal on the price for this model (424FS). I also got the Suiri 325FL model to compare, because i was not sure of the differences between the two models. They are similar in height and weight, but the difference is that this monopod has only 4 sections compared to 5 section for the 325FL. When holding the 424FS, it feels to me so much more sturdy and secure, compared to the 325FL (The 325 model is a good model and made for lighter weight set ups). There is a .5" difference in the folded sizes and the 424 model's diameter is 36mm compared to 32mm of the 325 model. I preferred the feel of the 424 over the 325. all the other features and functionality were the same on both (feet,, ball head at base, panning function and the quick head release). It is very easy and flexible to use, from the height adjust ability, head panning and quick release features and the ability to do table top or low to the ground pictures. Very satisfied with this monopod. Will be returning the 325 model and keeping the 424 model. EDIT: updated with some pictures to show comparison of the 424 on the left and the 325 on the right. Pretty close in size when retracted all the way. The 325 is slighly taller when fully extended, but the 424 has 4 extensions vs 5 for the 325. The 424 was $10 cheaper and I felt it was a better buy for the price and the better stability

Just what I needed
The media could not be loaded. I have a 12 lbs set up. Fits in tight spots and allows me to angle my camera as needed. Extremely stabile, Light and durable. I highly recommend. Money well spent. You can see my set up in the video that I made in this review .

The best monopod around!
This is hands down the best monopod around. I love the quality and build. you will not be disappointed with this purchase. Light weight, sturdy, great height, and the quick disconnects make it the most versatile monopod I have ever seen.

Almost a great monopod for big lenses.
i bought this to hold my Sigma 60-600mm on it so i can shot sports. I love the quick release for the mount as it lets me detach the camera quickly to get the shot and back on just as quick. the same goes for the bottom as I can change from single monopod to feet quickly. My reason for giving it a 4 star rating is that 90% of the time it holds my big lens fine. The other 10% of the time it slowly drops down. I have tightened it several times. I would get this monopod for just about anything except for a big mm lens. the cost was good for the quality and the build was very good. Just functionally it does hold my big lens 100% of the time as i need it too.

Extremely Well made
I was expecting a well made product for the price. Once I got it I was surprised at how much it exceeded my expectations.I have used it several times with great success. It have worked for photographing kids sporting events where having the feet have helped in holding the camera and telephoto lens.I like all the micro adjustments that you can make with it. The level is a great feature when outdoors on uneven ground.Being tall I like how high this goes, yet still gives me the ability to set up for a low shot if needed. There are cheaper options out there but probably not better made. There isn’t anything lacking and I expect to get many years of use out of this.

If is versatile and lightweight.
It’s easier to carry and much lighter than my tripod with gimbal head. I get severe shoulder pain carrying my camera and 500mm lens, along with my tripod. This gives me a lightweight and stable platform. Love the folding legs.

Misleading Product Description, Returning It
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the PlateSIRUI P-424FL Monopod based on its advertised max load capacity of 26 lbs. Unfortunately, it failed to perform as promised. When I mounted my Nikon D750, the top section couldn’t sustain the weight and slid down. I reached out to the company and followed their advice to tighten the screws. While this made the bottom two sections difficult to adjust, the top section still slid under any weight. When I reported this issue, the company suggested sending it in for repairs—even though the product was less than a week old. A brand-new monopod shouldn’t require repairs. I’ve decided to return it instead. It’s disappointing that the product doesn’t meet its stated specifications, and now I’m left without a monopod while dealing with the hassle of a return. I’ll be looking at other brands for a more reliable solution. This experience has been frustrating and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone who needs a dependable monopod
