Had to upgrade air compressors.
The media could not be loaded. Took a risk with this one as it had no reviews when i bought it, and the compressor failed. I could guarantee if i put a price of ham on the compressor it would cook, it gets very very VERY hot after running for a short amount of time. Not to mention how loud it is, and takes forever to fill up sir. Check out video to hear the compressor run. After the compressor itself failed i came across a few of the same air tank and compressor combo on amazon, but under a different name and different sellers, but still the same product, and the reviews state theirs get hot aswell, compressor ends up failing, and some even have caught on fire. At the end of the day i guess the air tank, pressure gauge and switch work fine, but plan on upgrading compressors if you purchase this. I upgraded to a $250 horn blasters air compressor, and it’s worth every penny. All i can say is these air compressors with tanks are cheap for a reason..

Good but fittings are not "US Standard" so be aware
I've had one of these installed in my truck for more than a year now and no issues. It's mounted under the bed and gets all sorts of abuse from rain, debris, and general "truck stuff". The fittings are mostly metric though, so be aware of that if you want to replace the compressor to tank hose, gauge or other items. The compressor itself if very loud when running but the tank and fittings, when properly installed, don't leak.

I slowly died on me. Bad design...
I bought this thing, not for a train horn, but because it advertised that I could use it for filling car tires. I had it installed for a little over a month, before I realized that it just keeps pumping, but not even pumping pressure. It got to the point where I have it on for 5 minutes and still not even going higher than 90 PSI, but because it's staying on too long and not putting out the pressure as advertised, it overheats and shuts off, leaving this thing to die slowly. The design of the pump is poor quality and is way too loud. I can't even listen to the radio at half volume with this pump overpowering the music. When it died to the point where it wasn't getting up to 90 PSI and it over heats, I decided to order a 5 gallon tank with a heavy duty pump. The new one I ordered is super quiet and it pumps way faster than this does brand new. It did its job for a short time of its life, but now it's going in the trash.

ok compressor
To be honest the install of the compressor was not that hard it had good instructions came with everything I needed the reason that I have the review with is poor star rating as I do is because I bought the compressor in January because of weather and other issues that I had I didn't get a chance to install it until about mid February and now I've barely had the thing half a year and it's already died to wear it doesn't hold air pressure and will not build UP 2 the 150 PSI that it says it will. I expected to have this thing a few years like the last one that I had, Don't know if I got a bad unit or just my luck with it.

Total Junk
Don’t buy. Used 3 times and compressor now fails to build pressure. Im assuming piston seal has failed. Waste of money.
