This is a great food for large or small dogs. I’ve trained dogs for most of my life which meant I was their veterinarian too. I have two dogs, one full breed Heidelberg GSD and a Malamute GSD mix. The Heidelberg is a male and the other is female spayed. He is 11 years old and showing signs of age related issues. One being that he would often regurgitate his food and I needed to find out what was causing it . I took a blood draw to my vet and saw he was low on many vitamins. Without that problem you wouldn’t notice he wasn’t feeling well. So I needed to change his diet and stop my family members from over feeding them because the female is overweight too where he’s not. There are many varieties of dog food you can buy but this product has everything you need and all you have to do is rehydrate it and within a week , following their instructions of changing from their normal food to simply raw, you’ll see a huge change. My boy was having some weakness in his hind legs which is normally hip dysplasia but with the proper nutrition from simply raw he no longer has that issue. Large dogs have a short life span and this food is like the fountain of youth for them. It also has thinned down our female having lost 6 pounds in just over a week. They both have more vitality and the greatest thing is less shedding. I can’t say enough good about this product! Buy it and you’ll be very pleased with the results in your dog’s health and mix it up with their 3 flavors. Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has the nutrients with real organ meats, bone marrow, vegetables. All the vitamins are in the food to help keep them on a regular routine.Value for money:its a great value for the money. It’s dehydrated so it’s the equivalent of 18 lbs per sack. I fed 2 large dogs for one week on a bag. That saved me about $12.Food quality:again the quality is 5 star. It has all the vitamins and nutrients your dog needs. It’s got raw organ meats plus bone marrow. All the ingredients are on the bag and the preservatives are very low.Smell:smells like a stew. You will notice it’s not like other foods that smell like canned meat but this smells fresh.Taste:my two dogs go crazy for it and will eat it at one sitting where other foods they would eat throughout the day.Digestibility:very good on their stomach. I had my male dog throwing up a lot on the other food we gave him but since switching over he hasn’t thrown up once.Dog food:its the best dog food for your pet and it won’t cost you more than most of the high end dog foods that proclaim to be better but have less than simply raw.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My dogs love this food. I love that it is dehydrated and natural. I can see a difference in their body's and personality.

My dog took one sniff and refused to eat it. I really don't blame him, it smells awful and was mostly powder.

Our kinda picky toy poodle loves this food. It's easy to prepare and affordable for the quality the the product. It smells like real food and you can see the real ingredients in it. The only complaint we have is one batch had fatty chunks that we had to remove and sift through the entire bag to make sure we weren't giving our dog too much fat in her diet. That only happened with one bag so far and we have used this for more than a year.

This is dehydrated actual food, looks like food and smells like food and it was genius and simple to leave it like this. can your dog give you side eye? when I give my dog a different food, let’s just say he notices and lets me know

Product mixes with water and becomes a delicious meal for my little dog. we feel it a good price and having been using it for a couple of years. lots of fruits and veggies and healthy.

As far as quality I felt this was a high quality food for my dogs. It does not have any salt which gave me a slight cause for concern as it is a necessary part of their diet even if small. The bag also states it makes 18 pounds of food but I found this to be very misleading as you scoop the food and then add water so it swells and that is still the amount you feed in a day so one bag lasted my dogs about a week when a normal 18 pound bag of food lasts them two or more weeks.If I was to use again it would be as a topper rather than a full meal.
