Yes, it works and yes, it’s of very good quality - surprisingly good quality to be fair.
Built like a brick (in the best possible way) with extremely high-quality plastic molding, good weight and very solid construction. The terminals appear to be silver-plated brass (your mileage will very on this one, no pun intended) but I cannot say that will be the case for everyone given how little money they charged for such a quality adapter. Seriously, this is extremely good quality and shockingly well constructed for less than $20. It comes in a velvet-like bag with a draw-string for when you store it in your EV. I am shocked at how well this adapter was made from the quality terminal pins to the extremely high-quality plastics and clean moldings. A top notch adapter that is so good I’m going to order a spare for when I inevitably loose this one. This receives the highest marks I have given any Amazon purchase even amongst my other 5-star reviews. This really is that good and it’s an ADAPTER! A plain, generic, boring adapter but it’s good enough to have me writing a 200-word tome on its virtues.

Good quality for the price

Only had to use it once but it worked great. No problems. Car and charging station recognized it with no issue.

Perfect fit, does not include a protective cap
Adapter works as it should. It would be nice if it came with a rubber protective cap to keep one installed on an exterior charger, but they can be bought separately. It seems it would be beneficial to also have a weather-resistant interface gasket on the female end

Better than stock Tesla adapter
I had a stock Tesla adapter that came with my car. After a handful of charges it warped and I could barely get it on or off plugs at different places. When I realized it was warped I bought this one and it has been smooth since. I regularly charge, twice a week, at work needing this adapter. There have been no issues. I highly recommend if you are having similar issues with your adapter being tight on plugs.
