This has been the only floor lamp I have truly over. It works wonderfully, as it allows me to adjust the lighting to my satisfaction. It has been durable and also aesthetically pleasing. It comes with a remote which is extremely convenient. I’d definitely recommend this lamp to anyone seeking a modern style but also durability and convenience.

I love this lamp so much that I ordered a second for myself and a third for my son. When I placed my second order, I was concerned the remotes for three different lights might conflict but that is not the case at all. Two are in my bedroom and the third on the other side of the wall in his bedroom. All three operate independently of each other.One of my favorite features is that the light points to the ceiling. It makes for a bright room without reflecting on my computer monitors, a problem I had with a small desk lamp.The brightness intensity and K-color (white/yellowish) are controlled with a remote that includes a button to automatically turn off the lamp in one hour (a feature I've not yet tried). The remote, which uses two AAA batteries (included), is magnetized, so it can stick onto the lamp pole, a metal desk or a metal filing cabinet if desired. I really appreciate this convenient feature.The lamp has a foot button to turn the lamp on and off, but without the remote the brightness cannot be adjusted, which could pose an issue if the remote is lost or broken.I read a few negative reviews about the lamp not lasting long but took the chance and ordered anyway. So far, I'm glad I did. I hope this lamp last a long, long time. I love the features, the look and the price.

I don't write reviews often but I just have to for this one. I am NOT paid or compensated in any way for this review. In fact, I don't write reviews for companies that offer some kind of bonus for a 5 star rating. So here it goes: I have really bad seasonal depression that occurs from October - March every year without fail. I've tried numerous SAD lamps but none of those worked as bright light gives me a headache for some reason even with my eyes closed. I also did not notice any benefits at all. Since it gets dark at 3:30pm in the winter time in my area, I bought this lamp to try to mimic sunlight so that I don't feel depressed so early in the day. Assembly was super easy and you just have to twist the parts on. I think it took me less than 5 minutes without reading any instructions. When I turned it on, I couldn't believe how bright it was and filled my entire room with clear light. Dimming feature is SO great and you can have it on cool-white light setting as well as warm light setting. Included remote features some preset settings to make it easier to switch from "study" light to "night time" light, etc. For me, the remote has not caused any problems and has been working well. My seasonal depression is still there but I would say I've felt BEST during this winter season as opposed to previous years. This light is what made all the difference for me. Also, I think it works for plants too to a certain degree. Of course this lamp is not going to be as beneficial as actual grow lights since it's not made for that purpose, but I've noticed my plants that are in the way of the lamp spring back to life. I neglected them pretty badly once seasonal depression symptoms started and this lamp somehow has helped my plants as well. I know the plants don't look that great in the photo but trust me, they were on the verge of death not too long ago. I am thinking about buying this lamp for every room in the house.. I love it that much. I am so glad to be feeling normal-ish during this winter season.

Original:This lamp is great! I use it in my office at work when the main overhead lights fee too bright lol. I considered getting a smaller one for my desk as well, but this one alone produces enough light. This one offers a variety of different functions for types of light and strengths. Very easy to assemble and sturdy but not super heavy. Only complaint is that I wish the lamp had some kind of small lip shade. The flat saucer shape is on the less aye appealing side lol, but still like it.Edit: in less than 2 weeks, I’ve already started having problems. I came into work this morning and turned it on via remote. After about an hour it flickered off a couple of times. I tried turning it on/off with the remote and it didn’t work. I unplugged it and tried reconnecting the remote, nothing worked. I no longer think it’s an issue with the remote but instead the lightbulb or wiring as it looks like I’m having a rave in my office.I reached out to customer service and provided a video of the lamps light show. Within a day or 2 I received a response, provided my order # and shipping address, and was told a new one had an estimated delivery of about 4-5 days from then. To my surprise, I received it 24 hours later! Customer service alone gives this lamp 5 stars so I won’t even be mad if this lamp doesn’t work either lol….but hoping it does because it really is a great one!
