Bought two of these to protect areas of footfall on the carpet of our rented house. They aren't what you would call high end, but are good value for the price. They lay flat and don't move about, and are beautifully soft underfoot. They vacuum well, but we haven't had them long enough to need to wash them, so can't comment on that. They are rubber backed, not hessian. I wouldn't put them somewhere where they would get filthy, but they are perfectly adequate for what we need. The pattern is nice, and they look more expensive than they were.

So pleased with this and it feels so soft on bare feet.

Love this runner! It's a gorgeous combo of colours, deep and very soft. I've just torn up the old ugly grey carpet that was on our upstairs hallway, but couldn't afford to replace it. £30 for white floor paint and this carpet have completely transformed the hall, making it much brighter and feel airier. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Lovely rug fits just right, very well made it's quite thin, so you can't hoover it, but it is machine washable

Pattern is beautiful, it feels soft but It doesn't look like quality. Only the tip of the fur is painted and it is obvious when it waves
