Harold and the Purple Crayon - DVD + Digital

Although it contains much more detail than the book (the book is very short and 3rd a reading level), it is such a cute movie. It kept my attention, had some sneaky adult humor, and the acting was pretty good.

Excellent Movie! Love the plot! Great for kids! Will continue to watch over and over again.

I actually enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would- it wasn’t corny- I think it’s perfect and has a great message! & in a world where kid movies are becoming too adult-ish, this keeps them in that childlike imagination and hopeful

I played this for my 6-year-old niece, and she was totally into it. It’s colorful and imaginative—great for younger kids. As an adult, I found it a little slow, but hey, it wasn’t made for me. The important thing is she enjoyed it.

I love the movie from beginning to the end!
