We installed this on the inside of a static caravan door. It was easy to put up and remove the lower links to alter the length. We did change the fixings for attaching it but these were cheaply bought from the local DIY store. The fixings required depend on what you are attaching it to. Ours were screwed into the wooden supports hidden inside the wall covering above the door frame.The links are soft enough to be prized apart easily when altering the length but sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of children running in and out.I would caution against leaving young children unsupervised with it in case the lengths of chain got caught around their necks. I have got a bit tangled in them myself when trying to pass through with hands full of shopping.To sum up, it is easy to install, looks good, does the job, and gives a modicum of privacy when the door is open.

I umm'd and ahh'd about buying this due to the cost and was going to buy a cheap one - BUT I am so glad I did buy this - it is an excellent product and can watch the flies on the outside trying to get in lol.One of the best pieces of kit I have bought.

Purchased this after seeing it at a friend’s house, where it was doing a great job of keeping flies out of a conservatory.The quality is really good and I’m looking forward to it doing a good job with the flies here.Unfortunately, I’m yet to be able to install it as the supplied fixings only allow it to be affixed horizontally, which isn’t possible in my situation as it needs to go within a recessed patio window aperture.In summary, good quality product, fixings not so much!

So pleased with these. Got them after a fly landed on barbeque food in the kitchen! They arrived the next day. Easy to put up, you have to adjust the length by removing individual links, a little time consuming as we hung 2 side by side on French doors. But had nothing much else to so during the lockdown so it was fine. They work a treat, no more flies. Apart from being practical, they look superb, really modern, they really catch the light when the sun shines on them. Totally recommend. They're a good weight so they don't blow about. Can't fault them.

I love living in the country and having cows at the bottom of the garden, but the draw back to this are hundreds of horse flies. This is quite a pricey fly screen but after trying cheaper alternatives that didn't work, I was willing to give this a go. Im so glad I did! It really works! It is important to adjust the height of the chains by simply unclipping them from the bottom until the chains do not touch the floor. This ensures the chains hang equally without any gaps. The odd, very small fly still manages to get in, but in the weeks we've used this, not a single horse fly has got into the house. I highly recommend this product.N.B. I hate to state the obvious but if you have other windows open, flies will STILL find a way into your house through them! I have nets at one window that is open during the day and another window is covered with net attached with Velcro to seal the edges. This allows a breeze to flow through from one side of the house to the other without flies hitching a ride on the air currents. So to repeat, this product works but you MUST ensure your windows are fly proof if you're going to open them too.

Got this as all the other door curtains i have used were not up to the job! Needed something a bit more heavy to keep those pesky flies out the house.Easy to put up, did the job of keeping flies out and the dogs could get in and out as they pleased. Expensive but worth it, hopefully it will last many a year and the cost will redeem itself! Hopefully it wont rust, not seen anything like that yet but I have taken it down over the winter.

Well made looks good easy to install

This was an expensive item so I expected better. The chains are aluminium and are quite light. These tend to blow a bit in a light breeze. There are several different batches of chain used on my model. About five links down from the top on some chains, a different batch of chain was used. This means that the chains end up slightly different lengths by the time they reach the bottom of the doorway. adjusting the drop by removing say six links from one chain for instance and seven from the next and so on.During the hot spell I had zero flies come into the kitchen, so it does the job well. I really wanted a heavier metal construction rather than the light weight aluminium but these seem impossible to find.The fixing involves screwing in two right angle hooks above the door onto the frame and the top chanel drops onto these. While moving the bunch of chains to one side in order to carry a chair through the doorway for instance, the chanel has a tendancy to slide off of the hooks and fall down. I will have to drill a centre fixing hole and add a retaing screw to stop this happening as I am worried the my grand children will sweep the chains to one side causing it to fall on to them. The chanel is also aluminium and quite sharp and could hurt.Overall, I am pleased with the performance but disappointed with the construction. I would buy again but definately need to add a centre screw fixing to secure it safely.
