I bought this antenna to see if I could get enough channels to cut cable. All of the local tv channels are as clear as my AT&T Uverse cable, so I cut the cord. In addition to local channels, this picks up another 80+ channels that are out of town. It was easy to hook up to tv and has enough cable to experiment with different locations in room. I'm impressed.Note: I live in a very large city with excellent towers, no trees around my home, and I'm on a slight hill so that helps, but I suspect this antenna would work well in other situations.

Received today and immediately hooked up inside my house and it does not tune in amy more channels than the flat digital antenna I already have. Did not even get all local stations. We are only 55 mu from Mobile AL and about 65 from New Orleans. Channels it did tune in were clear.

It works better than the one I paid over 125 + for. Not ever put outside . A negative, is having to run cable across the floor to the other room, and no HBO or other channels it says it does. Mostly happy to get local news, and newer shows. Almost forgot what a Comercial was.

Only picked up 24 channels and those channels were clear and sharp, but still missing some of the local channels I thought I should get and was hoping for.

I bought this to replace an older less advanced one that insisted I had no service for over the air. This one says the same thing so I assume that the growth of trees on the hill behind me has shut me off from the airwaves. It works great when I am sitting on a chair with it in my lap in the center of my bedroom. Not when hung by the window.

The description is very deceptive! Once connected, we were not able to get any channels at all! We were doing much better with the old style TV antenna outside. Returning it today for a refund!

I purchased this with skepticism, but I needed a way to get our PBS station. I was very pleasantly surprised by just connecting the antenna without installing it; the reception was great for the main channels but not all.I then tried it by just taking the box outside and the result, even by just having it outside the back door was noticeable. That made me decide to hang it where I thought a good signal was possible. At that point, I was able to get every channel I wanted (and about 80 local and alternate digital channels for the main ones) without problems.Recommended.
