I'd not used an air fryer before, but have been looking for a while and bought this in the recent prime day sale. I was going to go for a cheaper clone, but decided that if I wasn't happy I wouldn't know if it was air fryers in general or just that make that was the issue. The Ninjas are hyped but do have pretty well universally good reviews, so I went for this one.I have to say I am now a complete convert. The Foodi Max dual zone looks good and appears well made. It has two good sized drawers and simple and intuitive controls (in my opinion). Cooking times are, in general, halved compared to my conventional oven and the food genuinely tastes better. My wife volunteered this which is praise indeed as she was unconvinced about getting one.I particularly like this model because although the capacity is good the depth of the appliance is smaller than most comparable models and this is quite important when using it on a standard worktop. The drawers and crisp plates are very easy to clean. I have not noticed any unpleasant smell at all.The only small issue I have had that may well be something I've missed in the instructions, is that there doesn't seem to be a way of pausing without opening the drawers. This means that if the two drawers are synced and you need to open one to shake the contents, the timer and cooking of the food in the other drawer continues, so they are no longer in sync. The answer is of course to always open and close both drawers together, but a pause feature would have been nice. Not enough of an issue to drop a star though for this appliance which has become an indispensable purchase. Excellent product,

Been wanting an air fryer for such a long time and when I saw this on special offer snapped it up. So happy, this air fryer cooks quickly and efficiently compared to standard ovens. It’s easy to use with intuitive controls, I also appreciate that the drawers and inner trays are dishwasher safe. It’s worth the money.

This is my second ninja air fryer. My first was the max af160uk, single drawer 5.6l. We used it so much as a family in the end it wasn’t big enough and we purchased this duel drawer. It’s brilliant. Definitely worth every penny. We use the old with this new one and have a lot of good cooking a lot quicker, for us that’s great as we’re so busy and it saves time. Not used all the settings yet but it’s got some great functions and really light weight, the max crisp and air fry are great. The heat levels are useful and each setting automatically have a base temp to give you an idea from. It’s very versatile in that you can cook food in a sauce without the griddles or meat and veg etc on them so that it’s lean in cooking. It’s really easy to clean after use. I will be sticking with ninja.

Super easy to use, and makes producing high quality food possible even for me, including perfectly cooked medium rare fillet steak. Getting the timings of various thing aligned is also a breeze with the synchronisation between the 2 drawers. Still getting used to how quick it is compared to the conventional oven! whilst the non-stick drawers and trays clean up ok, it's better using drawer liners. Shame it doesn't come with the little grills stands and other accessories included but they're cheap enough to add.

Ordered four different air fryers before finally deciding to keep this one. Ordered the dual ninja but it was slightly small for a family of six. So opted for this one as the divider can be removed allowing for larger cooking space. Food cooks very wellIn fact we have had to lower the timing as the timing compared to other fryers is much lower on this as the heat level is very powerful. Functionalities spot on. We tend to use the bake option then crisp function. Came with a recipe book but due to our dietary choices some Recipes were not suitable. Overall perfect. The wife pops the chicken with spices in the fryer put it on for 15 mins and by the time she picks up the boys from school and returns home the food is cooked.

We waited a while before purchasing this, but finally took the plunge when the price dropped to £150—and honestly, we haven’t looked back since. Our oven barely gets any use now! It heats up quickly, is a breeze to clean, and once you get a feel for the right temperatures, it cooks really well.The dual-drawer design is a standout feature. Being able to cook two different dishes at once, even at separate temperatures, is a total game changer for busy meals or picky eaters.Definitely worth the purchase. If you’re not in a hurry, I’d recommend waiting for a sale—it’s a great deal when discounted!

One star taken off due to size, but that i suppose is on me for getting this one.Cooks well and you get an instruction manual with cook times which is really handy. Extra crisp option is amazing. Cooks food well and evenly. Bought a food thermometer to check food was cooked through and it is everytime. Not so great when cooking frozen meats, tend to wrap these now in foil and unwrap later and cook for twice the time. Does used a lot less electric than my oven does so saving money, so it really has paid for itself. Only issue is, as stated above the size but that is on me for getting the smaller model.
