i think its the most cheap and best product whatever we want from a cd driver its having every thing of the in the lowest price with a nice sleek heavy body from asus

I had good experience with ASUS writers before. But the lens of the old one became weak after a long service, so I ordered a new one. As usual the burning is Steady with the new one. The package contains a drive and a CD containing some software which i don't think of any use.

If have purchase this product one year ago and I can assure you that it is best product for its cost. It has so many options but if you're in budget then please go for it. It will work perfectly for you. Nowadays only some people uses Disk Drive so buy this only you need it. Don't just buy to add this. It will help only if need a CD or DVD writer/reader on a daily or weekly basis.

Everything is fine except the DVD suite disk is broken

Does what it says on the tin.Haven't tried burning DVDs or CDs yet but it should do what is says on the tin perfectly well.

First, It doesn't look the product model they listed.Second, It came damaged at the corner, looks like it was dropped in the transit. The CD was also scratched.The packaging was very poor, opposit to what I used to receive with my previous orders on Amazon.Third, It did not worked at all (as I expected after opening the packaging). It tried playing New balnk DVD, Almost new (without any scratches) dat DVD, New blank CD, Almost new dat CD in this Drive but it didn't respond. Even it was not able to read the CD came with it.Very disappointed. Returning this useless thing.

Perfect DVD drive for OS installation or to watch movies on DVD.

Product awesome only thing I miss is sata cable n please Amazon improve ur packing
