It worked perfectly for a year which is good right for me for the price. The laptop is it old after all and is used several hours at a time. Probably would last longer if I used the laptop less often.

I replaced my fan in my GS63VR with these fans and I did a proper thermal pad replacement and thermal pasting. I noticed my temps were much higher than before, but my original fasts were making noise.I order a different set of fans after trying new/different thermal paste with no results, the new set of fans keeps my computer at 70C while gaming. These fans are much thicker than the originals, I think they are out of spec.

Works for MSI GS73 Stealth 8RF. As others have mentioned, might as well change CPU fan while you are at it. Recommend going a little further and cleaning and changing the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. For MSI GS73 Stealth 8RF, this product comes with small plastic protrusions that are not present in the original fan that may interfere with installation. Just remove them, they have no function.

I own the MSI GS63 7VR model and the GPU fan began making a very loud buzzing noise when it spun. I ordered this fan to replace it and, while it was a bit of a headache to disassemble and reassemble the laptop, the fan itself fit exactly like the original spec. I've noticed now occasional very intermittent vibrations from the GPU fan when I rest my hand on the keyboard, but other than that, it works perfectly for a replacement fan. Definitely watch some videos about a fan replacement before and while doing this job; as stated before, the process of taking out the motherboard and replacing the fan is a bit of a headache. It's not a long job; around 30 minutes or so and it'll be as good as new, but it's definitely tedious. Also, do NOT use the screwdriver that comes with it; it's very cheap and warps easily, which will strip your screws if you try using it too much. Definitely invest in a precision screwdriver set if you don't already have one

Pros:- Perfect fit drop in replacement for grinding fans on MSI Stealth Gaming Laptop I have.- Fans worked great out of box.Cons:- Fans do not match the rpm of the stock fans which spin at 5.5-6k rpm. These spin at 4.5k max. Temps are affected accordingly, so I either need to run the laptop on a lower power mode or have an external fan blowing on the laptop to maintain reasonable temps for harder hitting games.Verdict: Brought new life to my otherwise out of action laptop. Just lessened somewhat.
