Colors gray very well very pretty natural color

I made a dumb mistake and apologize. I thought 8N was lighter than 9N and mixed the wrong color. I am really very sorrry. Wella products have been excellent and again I apologize.Been using this Wella 8N light blonde for several years. My hair is light blonde, covering gray. Just dyed my roots and about 40 minutes into waiting for it to process (45 min is wait time) I looked in the mirror and the roots were BLACK! I quickly washed out the black and now my hair is crazy looking. Will call Wella when they open to find out what the heck happened; obviously a machine malfunction. I just read earlier about the same thing happening to another person, but never thought it would happen to me. Wella, as far as I know, has not issued a recall on this product. I am returning the other bottles to Amazon. Won't be buying Wella anymore. Back to Clairol. Hope my hairdresser can fix the problem.

Color comes out the same color that’s on the box. The 9n is a warm dirty blonde just like the box. I put it on natural and bleached hair and both were golden dirty blonde. Not my fav color, saw other reviews and assumed it would come out lighter but with 20 vol developer and 35 mins of it on, it came out the exact color of the box, which I guess is a good thing.

I’ve always used Wella to color my roots. It is a great product I’ve used for years.

Even so . I use it now ( because ive been using it for so long ) to cover grey. I mix it with a 20v now and the lift is still nice where I need it . And its actually depositing the color over my grey which i love . . Cant say enough good things about Color Charm!!! Never displeased.

The hair dye is good. However, I used 8ng on my blonde hair thinking it would match. Unfortunately, it turned out dark brown. Sigh, waiting for it to fade.

There seems to have been some evaporation during storage as the bottle was only about 3/4 full. I adjusted the amount of developer and had barely enough to complete the job. It’s a very good color that I will order again but… Next time if it isn’t full, I will return.
