Will this work on a 2009 subaru wrx sedan?

i dont know i tried to use it on subaru outback 2.5 didnt work only works on a 3.6 outback six cilinders

Do you need to grind down the allen bolts to fit onto ej257 cams? so far i’m only see reviews that it requires modification on only non ej257.

I did have to grind the bolts on my ej255. The 257 should have the same 10mm hex
