Excellent Quality Ink (Peach Blossom)
I ordered the peach blossom color ink, and it’s the perfect spring pink shade. I swatched it immediately when it arrived, and it really is so lovely. The glass bottle and metal lid are very sturdy, no worries of leaking. The box has a little seal on it in the color of your ink that says “We are willing to serve everyone who takes a pen”. I have purchased several HongDian fountain pens as well, and they are really top notch. I’ve been a fountain pen user for 7 years now, and my collection ranges from Montblanc, all the way to Jinhao’s, and HongDians. Back to the ink. It has a very lofty, delicate, yet saturated color, and I like it very much. It shades beautifully as well. There is definitely enough ink to last me years. I’ve already got a pen inked with it, and it writes beautifully, and looks lovely on Tomoe River paper. Excellent quality, and I won’t hesitate to buy HongDian ink again in the future.

A Good Ink For Poor Paper
I ordered this ink because the ink family was reviewed by Doodlebud on YouTube and I liked the Sky Blue ink. It does indeed shade nicely even when put down via a 0.5mm nib. What surprised me is it does not bleed on Walmart binder paper (Pen & Gear) and doesn't feather much at all on Post-It Notes. In fact, the same tip on fountain pen friendly paper it puts down less ink and needs a broader tip in order to see its shading propensity to good effect. So, cheap, attractive, and useful in everyday applications.

A really nice muted blue ink
It can be a little frustrating buying ink when you don't really know what color you are getting. So, I posted a sample photo. What I see on my computer and what you see may be different but this gives you an idea of the color relative to other colors. The black ink on the photo is Platinum Black and all the other inks and the paper are identified.I really like the Bluish Gray. It is a dark blue with a gray/green base to it. It's kinda sorta similar to the Platinum Blue Black but it has a tiny hint of green in it.Use: I have put the Hongdian inks into different pens and they all responded well. No hard starts or trouble of any kind. On my comparison photo, I specified the source (cartridge or bottle) because I am not sure if the cartridge blue is the same as the bottle blue. Dry time was generally fairly fast but it is not a quick-dry ink.Feathering/bleeding: On the cheapest copy paper, the colors do feather and bleed through a bit more than say, Platinum blue black (my normal go-to color). On nicer Kokuyo or Apica paper, no problems at all. No feathering. No bleeding. No sheen or shimmer. But it does have a tiny bit of shading.Bottle: The bottle(s) arrived in perfect condition. They do not leak and they were not overfilled or under-filled.Value: For the price, I don't think these inks can be beaten.

Nice color, but tends to smear for this lefthander
I recently decided to dip my toes into the world of fountain pens and, upon seeing the Hongdian ink as a "frequently purchased together" item decided to give it a go. Overall, I am pleased with the ink's appearance on the page. It truly is a bluish gray, though the extent of the gray seems to depend somewhat on the paper. On a basic yellow legal pad, I have found it favor the gray while on smoother paper, such as a receipt, the blue is more pronounced. Overall, the color looks nice.As a lefthander, particularly one that writes from the side, one thing I'm always aware of is smearing and smudging. I have found this ink to be a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to drying time and resistance to smudging, even with an extra-fine nib. Some of this is attributable to paper differences. On a Midori MD A5 notebook, I have encountered smearing even after the passage of several minutes. On a receipt, however, the ink does not smear even though less time has elapsed. None of this is a criticism of this ink, but lefthanders should be aware that their experience may vary depending on the paper and nib being used.I'm not an expert in ink prices by any stretch, but 60 mL seems to be a decent amount for the price. The packaging was very lovely and I did not have any leaks whatsoever, so I cannot be more pleased on that front. In the final analysis, I think most fountain pen users will be pleased with this ink if they are looking for a bluish gray hue. Lefthanders, however, should be mindful of the propensity for smearing and how they might combat that.

Worth it!!
I don't know if I have ever bothered to write a review with a photo ... but here we are. I'm using a pilot kakuno. initially I just had the disposable namiki ink cartridge. I just switched to using it with the pilot CON-70 and Hongdian ink. the difference was so shocking that I had to come leave this review. I am a novice, so to other novices, when people talk about ink flow, pigment, and all the other relevant things, it is noticeable. this ink flows out of the nib significantly better. the pen literally feels like a completely different pen (writes more smoothly). Not only that, the black is significantly darker.super impressed.

Great ink, but check the seal before closing
This ink is very nice. The bottle it arrived in is great for holding it, but it spilled once when I didn’t check the seal. The ink dries really fast and is very visible.

Quality ink
This is more of an apricot peachy color than a pink which was what I was looking for. Good quality ink. I wanted a peachy ink for my cream LAMY safari. Still looking for a better color though. It is deep enough in color to read. II use it with a M nib. It is a nice color alternative.

Beatiful Color Unbeatable Price
I love Hongdian inks. Their color selection is absolutely gorgeous, and a fantastic bargain, for around $10 you get 60 ml.
