I don't like shapewear lol. I have worn the ones that are sort of like bike shorts but with more tummy coverage a few times for certain events or outfits and they always pinched and would ride down at the waist, but the shorts would also somehow ride up, I was always super sweaty in them and uncomfortable, they would pinch - it was just an all around bad time. So several years ago, I threw in the towel and just decided I would not deal with it anymore lol. I would wear regular bike shorts under dresses or skirts and otherwise it would be fine. And then I got invited to a fancier event for NYE. And I had a dress to wear already in my closet. But it *needed* shapewear to look how I wanted it to. I went on an Amazon hunt and after many hours of searching and reading reviews - I landed on this one. I got the full body shaper that basically looks like a leotard with shorts lol. I sort of snickered at the idea that I could wear this without a bra - I am a DDD, I didn't even try it without a bra on NYE, just pulled this on right over the bra I was wearing - which worked no problem. The wonderful thing about this shaper is that it actually works how it should. It doesn't ride up or down, it doesn't bunch, it is breathable enough that I don't feel like I am dying - and it smooths everything out and provides protection from chub rub. The shorts are short enough for cocktail dresses - and it is easy enough to pull them shorter if need be and adjust the shaper accordingly. I danced the night away, and drank way too much at the after-after party in this shaper lol. And didn't feel uncomfortable once. Now, the fun part - I decided to try wearing this to go out with the girls a few weekends ago with some jeans and a vest that I have always wanted to wear as a shirt - but never felt I could get away with it with my chest. This shaper *actually* worked with my chest. Was it as supportive as a "proper" bra with an underwire? No. Was it more supportive than a bralette? Hell yeah - seriously *so* much better than a bralette. No sagging or weird uni-boob! I loved the amount of support it gave me actually. it looked great with jeans and my vest-as-a-shirt also, but I was so jazzed about how genuinely comfortable I was in it which I never would have actually believed was possible for a bodyshaper.Since then, I have worn it at least 3 other times, to work, or to go out with friends. I've worn it to dinner and had a full meal with no issues, I have sat in the office all day in it and not been uncomfortable. And it gives me such a nice level of support without being restrictive at all. I move around a lot lol - and this doesn't impact me at all. I literally have sometimes forgotten I had it on until I went to use the restroom lol.The only *tiny* thing that I haven't 100% loved about it - is that the bust line is a little high (especially if you are tightening the straps to get as much support as you can lol) so the shaper sometimes would peep out the top of my shirt a bit which I would have liked if it was low enough that didn't happen and so I could get some proper cleavage lol. But overall I adore it and will probably see if there are other necklines by this brand to try out.

Tammy tech recovery must have!
Postop tummy tuck, perfect item!!I am two years postop from my tummy tech and wore these consistently throughout recovery from my procedure and like them so much that I still wear them almost daily! Most tummy tuck postop requires a binder that jobs into you under your bra line or your panty line exactly right where the incisions are made!!! Yikes!! This was the perfect item to put on immediately postop and then wrap with my binder over the top of it. It moved everything out and kept me feeling comfortable even when I did not need the binder anymore. I feel like this was the key to my recovery success.Yes, there was a learning curve for how to pee out of the hole, but I learned quick and you will too!! Lol TMI!It is silky smooth, easy to launder, I cut a hole in it for my drain and it did not fray!!! so the quality of material is exceptional as well! I’m telling you if you just had a tummy tuck or a full mommy makeover, this is the garment for you! You will suffer if you have a bottom band or top band of any kind! This is seamless from top to bottom! Try it it’s $30!!!

Don’t need compression everywhere.
Just did not work for me - two major drawbacks 1-I am quite happy with my A-cup breasts, but certainly do not need any compression there! This absolutely flattened me out. 2-the rear lift just created two strange lines that look like panty lines. I tried to adjust to various locations with no improvement. What this does have going for it is very good smoothing and less hot than some of the other shapers I’ve tried on. I’m not saying it’s highly breathable, but I didn’t want to rip it off my body like some of the others that made me very sweaty almost instantly! Wanted to like it, but not for me. I much prefer the fabric they use to some others, so I’m considering different ShaperX products, with my fingers crossed one works! For reference I ordered the black in S/M.

size down for a more snatched look
so i don’t leave reviews at all… but girl this needed it.i was going back-and-forth between this one and another one and my cart. I decided to go with this one because it was nude it was available quickly and it had the thong back. i’m wearing a silky sage green dress and am normally a 16-18 depending on who makes the clothes. but i wanted to get this for a wedding and really wanted to be super snatched and go no bra. i am a 38 H. I took a big risk and I got the X/XL because I wanted a super snatched look. when I put this thing above my thighs. I thought there is no way this is going to fit. There’s absolutely no way. With a little bit of wiggling and a couple squats, it came up with no problem. Not too tight, but also very very supportive. Definitely holds it all in. GET IT!

Apple Body
This was my first time buying shapewear, so I wasn't sure what to expect. For reference I'm 5'5 , 200lbs ish, and an apple body. My my weight carries in my tummy, upper back and boobs. Small booty. I bought 2 sizes in different styles.Beige brief in sz s/m and Black mid thigh in L/XLThe S/M fit comfortably. Almost too comfortably. Very easy to wear. It does smooth out the belly lumps , but It did not make me appear flatter in any way. The brief is very narrow. I believe anyone blessed with an ample a$$ will eat the back up. The crotch part is lil too narrow for my lil fupa.As for the boob part... It gives a nice support for me. No over spill. I didn't even open the black one in L/lX because I can already tell it will be too big. I think I can even size down to an extra small.I'm giving 3 stars because , for me, I would want something that gives a bit more compression. Better side boob and upper back coverage and thicker straps. May they should make different ones according to body types?Overall, I'm okay with it as a supportive undergarments that smooths out a little.
