CasioMen's G-Shock DW5600E-1V Black Resin Quartz Watch

This watch is comfortable, light, tough and has all the features most of us are likely to use. The back light is excellent, I really like the way it looks on wrist and unlike many digital watches it shows the time when using the timer and stopwatch functions. It has one flaw, the adjust button is recessed and I found it impossible to press with any of my fingers. If you have a set of small screw drivers it is a simple task to replace this pusher with the Casio part for the 2, 4 and 8 position pushers which are slightly longer. I did this, it cost £5.38 and has transformed the watch. There are videos online showing how to do it.

The classic beater watch, just put it on and don't worry no matter what you're doing. As G-Shocks go it's fairly basic but more than adequate for your daily needs, includes Time, Day/Date, Stopwatch, Count down timer, Backlight, 200m water resistance, Shock proof . Over 25 G-shocks in my collection and I didn't have this one ??? So purchased from Amazon US for under £50 including Duties and P+P. Watch arrived in 8 days via Royal Mail tracked, but as with my previous purchases form Amazon US the packaging does leave a lot to be desired as many have said before ! Strap can be a little stiff at 1st but will wear in, also the adjust button can be difficult to operate as it's recessed, it is designed that way to prevent accidental operation and perfectly normal (you don't have a faulty watch). Battery should last 3-4 years, backlight/alarm usage dependent, but you can easily replace it yourself (Batt is a CR2016) there are plenty of U-tube video's showing you how. Straps are prone to breaking over time, but replacements are readily available. Hope this helps !

A pretty good watch especially for £50 but I think some of the cheaper Casio watches are better and clearer to see.

I do like watches and much to my dear wifes amazement I keep buying them.For those of us that can navigate their way on the internet £40-50 can but some interesting results.Inevitably from the far east, but why?When you can obtain a genuine G shock for the same money, plus being the DW5600 it's got the design maturity of a classic.I know it's a digital beater to many but Like the F91-W everybody should have one of these because they are simply that good.The lumes good enough.The recessed button is a recessed button to avoid accidental resets, not a fault.It's a nice size, in fact compared to my GBDH 1000 it's almost discreet!In fact it's too good because it's the type of watch that once it's on, it tends to stay on!I have a few keepers to complicate life but at least it keeps it interesting!Just get one!
