Gentle for sensitive skin, moisturizes well

This ointment is quite thick and not as easy to squeeze out when the tube is cold.It does spread quite well so you don't need much of it and it has helped a little in improving some of the dry skin patches that my toddler has.It's fragrance free, you get a lot of it in the tube and it doesn't seem to have irritated her sensitive skin at all, so I think it's worth trying if you are looking for something that's like an ointment rather than a cream or lotion. I think it would probably be great as a dry lip product too!

The balm is quite greasy, so it is best applied at night (make sure you cover the area to prevent marks on the bedding) or at home.You only need a small amount, and despite the greasiness, it does absorb well into your skin and provides almost a protective layer.It's fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and deemed suitable and safe to use on new-borns.I found it best to apply at night, cover the areas with long-sleeve pjs, socks, or gloves, let the cream work overnight, and then wash off in the morning, as although absorbent, it doesn't fully absorb, and sometimes bits of clothing fluff can stick to it on your skin.I think for the price, it's quite good and handy to have in your cupboard for when your skin gets dry, sore, or eczema flares.

This product arrived well packaged in its box and the tube of 100ml was perfectly sealed internally and with clear information about directions and ingredients. My skin is a combination type, so I tried on different parts of the body. This is pretty much an ointment and in the ingredients there's white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin. It doesn't seem to absorb well but might also be my skin type. I find it useful to put on my hands before going out in the cold, which helps with moisture loss.All in all, it does seem a good quality ointment, but based on their name of 50/50 ointment, I was expecting more of a creamy texture, smoother and with higher water content to sink into the skin more easily.

I've noticed with the cold weather and my continued use of hand sanitiser my hands have suffered. The skin between my fingers and on my knuckles have become very dry and sensitive. This balm has helped me revive this skin by locking in moisture in those areas. After cleaning my hands I apply a small amount to the affected areas in particular and I've even put on cotton gloves to keep the ointment on my skin. It's made a difference so I'm really happy. Definitely worth keeping around the home x

Good cream to help sooth dry skin.The cream is similar to Vaseline texture wise which helps keep skin moisturised.A little is needed as it is greasy on the skin.For a small tube it is affordable

After suffering for eczema and psoriasis for may years I've tried almost every product available both over the counter and medically prescribed. The only things that really work are the ones from a paediatrician.This product may be suitable for someone who suddenly finds they have a bit of dry or had skin, but it's no different than any cheap cream from a supermarket.

Didn't work for me, used before bed and was up in the night itching, so not as good as other ointment creams.
