Is there a way to turn off the incessant beeping?

I just talked to SMEG and they are updating the product based upon feedback to include getting rid of the beep, an easier to fill reservoir, and more than 20 minute warmer. The updated version should be available by March. They also told me that people can contact them and they will accept a product trade.

What temp is the coffee brewed to?

I have not measured this but it is not very hot.
