I really like the worksheets in the book. The stories are short and each page focuses on a different goal. These goals are achieved with a variety of activities. It is keeping my 7 y/o interested and not overwhelmed

Fun to learn

We take out about 15-20 mins a day to do workbooks after school during the week. My daughter is definitely doing well with these exercises as she does more and I’m seeing progress! I recommend this book for someone who wants their second grader to get better at reading comprehension.

This is an independent workbook and you will find your child picks it up and won’t want to put it down. It is engaging, fun and very helpful in a summer break, or developing reading comprehension analytical skills with real world practical applications.
