These are the best booties I've ever gotten for my pup. She loves them!They're quick to put on because they easily slide over her feet. They cinch up nicely with the main strap (black) and then the reflective strap above it shuts out the snow. My dog went bounding around in snow that was higher than her head and even with that amount of jumping and snow, all of her booties stayed perfectly in place! The design of these also prevents them from rotating around her foot. She's had them for over a week now and we've gone on some crazy hikes and every time we finish, her boots are exactly where and how they should be.Previously, she had a set of Muttlucks, which were nice, but these booties are not only MUCH cheaper, but better in every way. The Muttlucks would rotate around her feet, or slide down in deep snow. She finally lost one because the snow got packed into the tube part. Not with these booties! These booties end at the top strap so no snow can get in. The double strap system is also fabulous to keep the booties in place.The grippy soles are also really good. I thought that my dog wouldn't like it at first because it's less pliable than fleece or leather, but once she got out on the trail, she loved them. They don't appear to bother her at all. The other nice thing is that the grips not only give her more traction in the snow, but they also give her more control on ice.The booties are fleece-lined and keep her feet toasty warm. They dry super quickly so you can take a break and be back on the trail in no time! They're waterproof and extra warm because the upper part of them is made from the same material that jacket shells are made from. I am more than pleased with this wonderful product.

The boots themselves seem like they might hold up if my dog were able to wear them, so as far as the durability of the product I cannot give any comment. I measured and ordered based on the chart provided. After waiting weeks to get these in the mail they were too big, so I thought a simple exchange would be fine, I'll wait a few more weeks, winter hasn't really set in yet. When I wrote the company requesting to exchange the boots for a smaller size, they denied my request stating "Health and Personal Care products (cholesterol monitors, glucose monitors, fragrances, thermometry etc.) cannot be returned." These are rubber dog boots, far from any of these items listed above and I find it difficult to understand how it would be harmful to the pet if another pet tried on his boots. I recommend order from another vendor unless you know your pets shoe size for sure.

My dog loves to run in the mud when it's available so now he gets to put on his shoes before he goes outside. He looks hillarious when he takes his first few steps but it doesn't stop him from racing around the yard. When he comes back in he gets to leave the muddy boots outside which has been such a relief. It's a real pain to clean thick mud from dog paws.These stay on his paws very well but can come off if not strapped down well. He is a 70 lb thoroughbred race horse and if these stay on him I doubt they would fall off a regular less aggressive runner.My only complaint is that the straps are double straps on each paw so it does take a while to put them on but taking them off is a snap. I put my fingers in the boot while un-velcroing them or else they tend to close back up when opening the second strap. I don't knock the manufacturer for this design as it does keep them on. Just wanted to point out that they aren't like slip on loafers so just know that it may take a few minutes to get these boots on your dog.

These could be awesome if they were stitched and had glue. The soles are glues on and within a week and a half the soles are coming off :( I have a German and loves chasing the ball..when he runs and spins the shoes twist to the top of the shoe being on the bottom part of his foot. Super sucky bc we wanted to love these. He needs them because of his allergies to grass an other things. Wish the back shoes had higher straps up the leg as ai think that help with the twisting and falling off the back feet.

Update: it is now August 2018 my baby is 13 and we lost one of the shoes. I tried to order through this company again but they never sent the shoes we ended up waiting till October, 2018. Then Amazon did an investigation and finally gave me my money back I don’t understand why the company was making me wait that long I think they thought they would get away with it.....I have ordered many other boots or booties for my dog over the years these are by far the greatest the extra strap makes it so that she can't shake them off or pull them off and they protect her from slipping or getting anything harmful on her paws. Thank you so much for selling these and the advice you gave me about the shoe size I thought it would take her a long time to get used to them but it didn't within an hour she started walking and running around and she's 10 now she kept getting foot infections from outside but now I can take her outside and not worry about anything. yay!!

These are the best dog shoes/boots I have ever bought for my German shepherd dog. Over the last 15 years, I've owned 3 shepherds who have, one time or other, needed protection for their feet. These are the first ones that I have ever found to be good, and I've owned many, many pairs. They are also cheaper than most.I bought the large size but only need to use 1 boot. It's on the foot that drags a bit due to degenerative myalopathy (sp?) -- DM. I want to be able to walk my dog without scraping the skin off his toes. These boots, with their heavy rubber that extends from the bottom of the pad, up and over the toe, prevent this from happening. I'm so pleased! Oh, and they are simple to put on because the top opens VERY WIDE. You just place the dog's paw inside, fold the front together and fasten with velcro. Easy!At this writing, I don't know whether these boots will stand the test of time. Looking at the material and construction, I'm betting they will.
