Soooooo wonderful!
I have used both this brand and the other Doc's products on and off for a while now and honestly, I prefer this Peppermint to the other. This is a more mellow mint which is great as I use it as a body and face wash, and the Dr. B's can get too overpowering that way. I also use this in foaming hand soap dispensers all over the house (mix just a few tbsps of it with water and it foams up nicely) and it rinses clean and smells just strong enough that I can tell whether my daughters have actually washed their hands. Lol Besides all of this, the price is fantastic in comparison, and as a Mommy that scores big points in my book. I also like their other scents. The almond smells AHmazing, the tea tree..well it smells like tea tree, which stinks no matter what you do to it but it makes a good face wash for my teen, and the unscented can be used as a safe dog shampoo, so yay for Dr. W!!!!

Thicker than Dr. Bronner's
I use Dr. Bronner's castile soap regularly. I decided to give this brand a try since the price is lower. It is a great product. It smells nice, and is very comparable product. The main difference is this product is much thicker. I imagine that would be helpful/better for some uses such as a body wash, de-greasing, . We dilute castile soap (about 1 part soap to 3 or 4 parts water) in those foaming hand washing dispensers. They work great because the soap cleans well, smells nice, and doesn't dry out your hands. I also think it doesn't have a build-up like Bronner's, and seems to rinse better.Because this soap is thicker, it does not work as well in those pumps because it settles to the bottom, whereas the Bronner's doesn't do that as much. We will undoubtedly buy this again, but we will probably keep buying Bronner's as well, just for our hand soap mixture.

Best Soap Ever!
My husband and I have used castile soap as our body/face wash for years. We used to use Dr. Bronners, but it is so expensive. I discovered Dr. Woods a few years ago and have used it ever since. The peppermint soap smells great, feels great, and even works as a shampoo in a pinch. I dilute it and use it as hand soap also. Truth be told, I even used it as toothpaste one time when I was away from home and realized I forgot my toothpaste! It sounds crazy, I know, but I wasn't worried because it is a natural soap with no weird chemicals in it. I use the lavender scent on my kids. We are a Dr. Woods family. They make bar soap too, if you are traveling and worried about carrying liquid soap.

Good But Not The Best
This is a very good soap, and it's a wonderful amount for your money, but it's not quite what I was hoping for.It isn't as minty as Dr. Bronner's, for one thing. It smells nice, but the smell isn't very strong, and it fades pretty quickly. I think with a few drops of peppermint oil, it would probably be just as strong as Dr. Bronner's, but I also think I shouldn't have to add anything to my soap. It also doesn't produce as many bubbles as Dr. Bronner's. I'm sure some people will prefer that, but I like a good lather, especially in liquid soap.It is, like I said, a very good amount of a decent soap. Much cheaper and thicker, so it lasts much longer than Dr. Bronner's. The only real downside is the weaker smell and lack of bubbles. If that's what you're looking for, though, or you just need a lot for cheap, I highly recommend this.

Perfect for gardeners to make natural insecticides for your plants.
Dr. Woods Peppermint Castille soap smells absolutely amazing. The product is very concentrated and contains a very generous amount of peppermint essential oil. A little goes a long way. Castille soap has a great many uses and one such use is for making plant insecticidal soaps for handling things like mealybug, fungus gnats and spider mites. There is information available on the internet on homemade insecticides. If a houseplant or garden plant gets an infestation this is what I prefer to use. I'm a freelance gardener and' I've been able to clear up insect infestations on both mine and my customer's plants with this soap.

Great Soap to Use Everyday!
I absolutely love this castile peppermint soap. The scent is amazing and not too strong. It smells so fresh and clean. I use this soap for just about everything as is, or added to other ingredients. I have made my own dog shampoo with this soap along with other essential oils. We have had a problem with fleas this year, and I use this along with some lemongrass essential oil. Works Great! This comes in a 32oz size which I love. But, I will be back for more when I run out. I also use it to mop my floors, since it has peppermint, which helps keep the ants and spiders at bay, especially in my kitchen. This Castile Soap when used as a body wash, is amazing and energizing! I use it whenever I need an extra boost in the morning. Helps me get my day started.I'm sure you will be pleased with this product..Dr. Woods makes really great products and I am always looking out for these products.

Refreshing and minty on a hot day
Refreshing minty Castile soap. I used to buy Dr. Bronner’s but it’s too expensive. This one does the trick and is exactly the same.

Love this Peppermint-scented bottle of Castile, but wish today's order came with a cap.
Great product - good for so many uses.....But today's order was missing part of the cap! I can make do, but this is an unusual quality control issue.
