Is the rubber seal blue or black? The picture is black but the description says it will be blue.

I don’t think they are. There is nothing on the box they arrived in or on the containers themselves to say they are dishwasher safe. As I don’t have a dishwasher it wasn’t a problem for me. I hope that helps.
