Encore 15 Inch 4000W DVC Competition Car Audio Power Subwoofer | ECW150

This is a powerful sub! Great quality cone and coil! More than pleased!This is the best sub I've ever owned! The capability is amazing. DO NOT waste your time with anything else!The SPL rating matches my expectations and the coil can support my amplifier at 1470 2 OHMS that I bought at Walmart for $99. This is a true quality sub! I remember the days of SPLs in the low 90s and great brand names such as Cerwin Vega having the best numbers and performance as it out performed Kicker Comp subs (Kicker is just a name, proof is in the numbers). BUT, here comes VM Audio; what an amazing sub.I can't say enough to give this sub the credit it deserves!

Has a decent sound but definetly can't handle the watts it says. Had it hooked to a Boss AR4000D mono block wired at 2 ohms so was pushing less than 3000 watts max gain set with multimeter. Bass boost less than a quarter up and started smelling a burning smell after turning the radio up. Rewired at 4 ohms and dont turn it up loud and its sounds ok but not impressed at all

I had a 12 hooked up for about 2 months of break in I tried to go about 1/2 way up on my amp and the coil blew do these come with warranty and how do I go about it?

I must of been 20 when I got this but it blew after like 3 months of having it. Cheaply put together

I have two of these on a brandx 1900watt 2 channel. I think that they really aren't 180$ apiece. They will hit hard as Hell, and the excursion on them is up there with the HCCA , -15lbs or so. With that said I still do not regret the purchase there price point is a little to high but I give them an A for effort on the desine but when inverted there can be some tapping from the frame onto the motor housing. And not significant. As it is only apparent at low volume.

First, my system: 8-gauge wiring leading to a 3000 watt Planet Audio amp powering this 15 inch 4000 watt VM sub.I was a little worried about buying this subwoofer... some of the reviews and details such as "8.6 pounds." However I have absolutely no regrets getting this subwoofer! It is able actually shake all my back windows and vibrating everything else in my car at half volume. I will say its response time is a little slow for dubstep or fast remixes, but for slower music like rock it's marvelous. I would definitely suggest getting this subwoofer! As a side note, when it arrived I weighed it and it was a total of 29 lbs, not 8.6.

I have owned several brands and sizes of subwoofers. VM Audio Encore 15 inch subs are the best sounding, vehicle shaking, citation making subs I have owned to date. Yes there is a lot of plastic, but it looks cIean and not too cheap. I don't really like the magnet enclosure but I don't see it in the box anyway. Imatched these subs with a Planet Audio Anarchy AC5000 bridged to 1 ohm. I only have the gain set at 1/2. Very important: always build your sub enclosure to the specs of the subwoofer you purchase. Never use just any old box.

Very loud on back seat got that bass that Goes through you're mind ! When I get them in Boxes most likely will move the Stars to 5
