I don’t know which picture you’re referring to but I make my own cleaning solution and then use these towels with a regular old swiffer for my floors and it works great!!

Are these durable enough for repeated washer machine cycles?

I don't wash them in a washer machine but I wash them after every use and last for a long time then I get rid of them. I guest the washing machine will be more gentle on them.

Exactly as advertised

Exactly as displayed. Great on dishes and glasses or aluminum and steel surfaces, to wipe out any water drop marks. Dries super fast. Washable abs reusable. I recommend only rinsing or washing with mild soap. Definitely would not machine wash. Great in the kitchen!
