If it only stays in the air for 5 minutes and then needs to recharge for 30 minutes then how is this toy worth buying?

I bought this for my 12 year old for Christmas. He went out Christmas morning, it flew for 5 min, crashed down and the helicopter wing broke. I can’t find a replacement for it. It is still sitting in the box, broken and not being used!

Is there a way to order replacement rotor blades?
