Go to Settings / Sound / Sound Out / Choose External Speaker ( with this option it may show you an option to choose output format Auto or PCM. Depending on your model, the options will be different but it should have PCM listed with other formats. I have a LG 2014 model and it does have it. I hope you this is helpful.
