The Very Best Of Enya

Excellent sound

Enya's vocals are so enhanced as to leave the listener with the feeling that she is present with you in the room. Just listening to the album with lights off and candle burning on the coffee table you can imagine being in a cottage in rural Ireland such is the atmospheric quality that this L.P. engenders. All the best known tracks are here; Orinocco Flow, Caribbean Blue, Wild Child, Storms in Africa. There are no fillers and each track deserves their inclusion on their own merits. The music of Enya is probably of a type that best suits vinyl as it demands a medium that allows high quality sound reproduction. The price is fair as you get 2 discs of high.quality music. Only downside is that only a few of Ms. Brennan's albums are available on vinyl.

I would have picked different songs for a best of but most of the favourites are here. Some tracks sound a little flat but on the whole production is good, although I have all the CDs I wanted to get this vinyl as a demo of what the difference is on my Rega P8 over my Cyrus Cdxt sig player. In this instance the CD player wins but vinyl comes close sometimes it’s the other way round.

Excellent cd and dvd. I bought this for the dvd, I think the dvd alone is worth buying this collection for but also the cd contained a least 2 songs that I didn't have considering I have almost all Enya's cds I was very pleased with this collection.

Bought as a present, easy listening.

Bought Asda birthday gift but the recipient loved it although several tracks were melancholy.
