This is the vest I've been looking for - lightweight, lots of pockets, looks pretty good. But the seam between the left hand pocket and the jacket shell started pulling apart after a week of use hiking around Lake Tahoe. I dunno, maybe it's made more for gentler activities like golfing. Anyway, I've mended the seam and I'll hope this cool vest holds together for the long run.

Love this vest so much, I bought one in another color. Warm, yet lightweight. Highly recommended

This garment is a slightly larger around and longer XL. Also, the vest has a special "flap" of material installed so they can put their logo on the inside of the neck, without perforating the exterior of the garment. This creates 2 unfortunate results: 1.) The thread and label sewn into the extra flap have rough, sharp edges and irritate the skin on my neck. So annoying, that I took the threads out with a seam-ripper and threw away the label. 2.) The extra flap of material moves around when putting the jacket on and wearing it. The flap flips up, getting caught between the collar of my shirts and the collar of the vest, or rolls-up making it uncomfortable. The extra flap cannot be removed, as it is sewn into the seam between the collar and the body of the vest. Not a great arrangement.On the plus side, there are ample pockets and they are sized to accommodate most personal items (phone, wallet, keys) and secure. The collar is lined with a softer material and when turned up blocks wind and has good touch to skin.
