I'm not sure. The underside of this product is covered in a soft material that resembles felt. I would be concerned about the fibers melting or igniting if placed on a hot surface.

Why would you put it on the floor? It's not thick so you can't use that as fake grass.

Looks great

I used this in making a small display for my nephew for Christmas. It was football themed and this worked great for the turf, I was even able to paint white lines on it for a more accurate look. Was softer than I thought it would be, which is a good thing, and more enjoyable to work with.
