I just got my cable, and both the power and access lights are lit but laptop will not reconize the hard drive. Any idea why??

This cable will only work with 2.5" drives. If the drive is encrypted, it won't show up, need to reinstall it on original computer, or format recycled the drive before use

Product not working and electric shock - Returned

Purchased by watching good reviews of the product. What I received is not like image shown on Amazon. The image has 2 indicator lights blue and red. The product I received has one indicator light only and no brand names on adaptor or power plug. Looks like cheap product. And dangerously it can give shock. Luckily I had a tester on my table so I checked am saved. Hope the manufacturer take note of these points and make improvements.

The most worst product. No cooperation for return /refund

Not working for 3.5 cm SATA HDD. Tried to return. It was initiated return but not collected. When contacted owner, they responded as replaced. I am trying to return and no clue how to contact customer care. It is bringing back to same page on webpage.

Wrong item arrived the first two times.

The first item that arrived had a DC jack that did not fit. The second item included a 5V DC adapter instead of a 12V one. I could get neither to work.
