First, unfold the folder til it looks like a book from the front. Go to the "bottom" of the book. Fold the bottom flap up first, it looks like this: -----______---- Then, tuck in the two short side pieces into the bottom flap Then, tuck the top flap into the bottom flap. Top flap looks like this:------- ------ _______ Hard to "draw in this context. Hope this helps!

Yes, all the sets of three are the same. However, if you mix up the arrangement on the bookshelf it is not so noticeable. I really like the sets I have.
