Golden Rose Lip Marker Lip Stain Ultra Long Lasting Natural Finish Water Based with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E (104 Burgundy)

I really like this product. I mean I really, really like this product. I use it almost everyday. I have bought it in three different shades: 101 Light Pink, 103 Cherry, and 105 Mulberry. I very rarely wear the 103 cherry because it has a slight orange tint to it, at least on my skin tone.The product lasts all day, with the darker 105 Mulberry seeming to last longer than the much lighter 101 light pink. I occasionally will wear a shimmery lip gloss over it for a different look, but prefer the matte look of just the lip stain.I will normally apply two or three layers when I do my morning makeup. I then keep it in my pocket all day and will apply as needed (once or twice in a normal day). The color will slowly fade throughout the day but never really goes away and even as it does it fades in a natural pattern, lightest in the center of the lips. In my opinion it still looks good as it fades. Even on days in which I have not reapplied it, at least with the mulberry, I will still have traces of it on my makeup remover wipes at the end of the day.A few things I have learned:1) Apply two or three coats of it if you want a rich color.2) It will fade though out the day, especially if you eat or drink.3) It does sometimes still transfer but ever badly.4) It is best to shake the color down into the tip before you apply. I have tried storing it tip down and it doesn't work well that way. This is my biggest complaint, that in order to get product into the tip, it has to have help to get there.Like I said, It is a good product but not perfect. I really like it. I find that with daily wear one marker will last me about 4 to 6 months and honestly I tend to lose it before it drys out but about 6 months of daily wear is all you can get out of it. I think that is a decent value for 9 bucks.

I removed a star because I was expecting a darker color and it’s actually pretty bright HOWEVER I am impressed by how well this can actually stain. Yea sometimes it does wear off but other times I wake up with my lips lined from my make up the previous day! So I’m a fan

1) Some people have said that it's too "dry" I did not experience that. I LOVE that it is not watery. You put it on your lips and it doesn't bleed outside of your lips - I LOVE THAT. Easy to apply2) I got the mulberry - it was the perfect color for me.3) I applied it early in the morning (8 a.m.) At 4 a.m. the color was lighter, but it was still definitely there - I have never experienced that with a lip stain.4) This stain is much more affordable than some of the better known products claiming to be a lip stain.*******IN SHORT***** I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and will definitely purchase it again! This is a 10/10 for me

Good news is: it is a true stain, very intense opaque dye that stays on till you scrub it off. Bad news is - it is not the natural mauve color pictured. It is clown level bright fuscia/wine. It dries immediately so you can't sheer it. The only way to sheer it is to scrub it with wash cloth, but bear in mind it will be somewhat muted but still that bright unnatural clown shade. The only way to make it work is to scrub it more sheer and then put a nude pencil over the top to tamp down the brightness but still maintain that definition that we love lip stains for. If this company could do this formula in a natural lip tone or the mauve that is pictured- they would have a massive winner.

I have been looking for an actual lip stain for so long. I just end up with regular lipsticks that claim they are stains. They typically go on thick and wear off within a couple hours. So frustrating.This goes on nice and sheer. This color golden rose is so perfect! I did just one coat and let it dry. I did apply some clear lip balm later in the day when my lips started to feel a bit dry. One of the best things is how evenly it went on my lips. If I do find a stain, it typically looks really spotty. It definitely faded thru the day. But it even faded evenly.The first picture is after first application- taken at 6:30am. The next picture was taken after an 8 hour work day at 3:30pm. 2 cups of coffee, multiple glasses of water, and lunch. You can see, it is faded, but there is still some color on my lips, and the color is even.I just got this - so really hoping it lasts awhile and doesn't dry out. I plan to buy more colors! So happy I found this! 💋

I thought it would be great to have a lipstick that doesn’t go away all day long, I have few but they dry my lips so bad.This one in particular dries all my lips , the color is not uniform when you put it on and more you try to fix it on your lips more it gets worst.Doesn’t go away with make up wipes , so basically a mess.I don’t like this product is kinda delusional.

Finally! 6 hours have past...it’s still on! I ate dinner, had coffee, drank water! I was amazed when I looked in the mirror. I have tried so many of these lip ink, or lip stains over the years. I am always disappointed...in the spirit of full disclosure, the bar was set very low. So, this is what I did. I used Tarte lip exfoliater and rinsed it off in the shower. I applied my regular moisturizer and Clinique lip treatment. I shook the pen real well and lined my lips then filled in. Applied my makeup and added another coat. After I finished my routine I applied a sheer moisturized lipstick. Viola! My skin is normal, my lips are not usually dry and do not feel dry now. I have fair skin. The Burgundy is red with blue undertones, I would say Berry on me. The Cherry is a True Red with brown undertone on me. This product is certainly worth the money.
