I bought the original like this. It's 200,000 BTU's I believe it. It's very versatile and can get extremely hot or very low with one inner ring activated.

Can you use a wok on this burner

Yes you can use a small to medium wok on this burner...best to get a ring if you using a larger wok...hope this answers your question. About the ring...they make a steel ring that will sit on the burner making the wok more stable.

That unit buts out 30,000 BTU. BUT ITS NOT JUST A BURNER ITS COOKER. ITS VERY HRAVY DUTY.
