Works perfect with the Thomas the train tracks. Very durable. Very fun for children. Very valuable for your money. Easy to assemble with wooden tracks that you can buy for it. Trains do not get stuck in the tunnel and if they do, it’s easy to put your hand in there to push it out. Would recommend this for children.

Our grandson loves his Metropolis Train Table & Set, and it accommodates every brand accessory. One of his favorite pieces is this simple Orbrium tunnel. It’s about 6” long, and just the right length for little fingers to pass trains through. All brands easily fit through its 2” x 3” dimensions. I’ve included pictures of another accessory,Schylling Brio Travel Battery Train, to demonstrate that and to show the nice quality of the tunnel and its interior track.We enjoy adding pieces to the train table. It’s refreshing to find some that are reasonably priced, well made and universal favorites. The train enthusiast here even uses this tunnel off the tracks for imaginary play with Matchbox cars.

I bought this after my about-to-be 3yo wanted a tunnel on top of the birthday cake. The tunnel was great on top of a grocery store cake with Thomas the Train theme. We cleaned it, and now it is a favorite among the train sets.It is sturdy, I've caught it being used as a mini seat or step. I stop that, but it does not seem to hurt the tunnel at all.The design is the same on both sides, but it is a good design, and after a couple months of hard play, it is not showing any wear-and-tear or soft dents in the wood.It's a great deal on-line also. I've not seen any similar tunnel, even plain colored nice looking tunnels, for a better price.I've used some tape to attach a plastic Thomas Trackmaster adapter to another wooden piece, and the motorized toys run through the tunnel nicely too.
