Yes, a long press (about 3 or 4 seconds) will turn the flashlight off in any of the modes allowing you to NOT cycle through all the modes. This is actually true of most of these types of flashlights, so maybe you can try this on your blukar too.

Q: Does it remember the last lighting mode you used? or do you have to click through all the modes to turn it off?

Have to go through cycle. It is not that smart.

The charging port is a USB Micro B type.

Q: Can the built-in battery be removed/replaced?

I don’t think so, it’s pretty solid, it might damage the case to replace it without a machine or even at all.
