Q: saw NO pictures of a foot rest! There was one photo of a leg rest when recling, where is the FOOT rest?

It's under the seat. You pull it out and flip the cushion over to use it. It's very small but functional.

Q: My tilt lock mechanism no longer holds. Is there a replacement part available for sale?

"It is a normal sized chair." is no an answer to whether parts are available.

Q: Does this chair smell bad?

Mine had a small smell once I took out of the box but it wasn't bad. I love the chair and recommend it.
